Why do most of the candidates have 2 first names?
Edited on Thu Jan-22-04 10:50 AM by Bleachers7
This is creepy. The top 4 all have 2 first names? What does it mean?

Wesley Clark
John Edwards
Howard Dean
John Kerry

If we don't win in 2004, will Kent Conrad be the frontrunner in '08?

3. And the GOP is full of "body part" Sounding names
Colin Powell
Dick Cheney
George Bush

Maybe we are just stuck in some cosmic sitcom and we don't know it.

9. better vote for Al Sharpton
Edited on Thu Jan-22-04 11:07 AM by Sly Kal
I think I might if this board gets any uglier. The only candidates supporters who have not joined in the bashing here are the Reverend AL's. And he doesn't have two first names.

11. Lieberman's are clear too.
I've seen bashing from someone with a Sharpton avatar, but I think he was for Kerry anyway. Generally the less supporters a candidate has at DU the less likely the supporters are to engage in bashing.

12. It's a WASP thing
When I was in grad school at Yale, one of my friends pointed out that the sign of a true WASP male was having a last name as a first name. The prime example at the time was the president of Yale, Kingman Brewster.

Presidents have to be good at dishing out sweet boloney. pa dum pum.
