...missed it that is.

Maher seems to have turned the corner. Even got the pajama bottoms of the girl who shouts from the rooftops she's conservative lesbian. :wtf:

Now...before anyone goes off half-cocked or even wholly-cocked...there's nothing wrong in my book with being either a conservative, a lesbian, or both. (It's and smirk and the pointy ha-ha fuck you you're a loony Liberal that pisses me off!)--but this chick "awarded" Maher her pj's for the proclamation that Bush may have been "right".

Well...fuck you, bitch! GWB IS as far "right" as he's been able to be politically without falling of the ledge. Anything else that's happened hasn't been to his credit, but because others with a conscience and accountability have taken the initiative to do "right" thing and pull his butt out of the fire!

I'm so tired of others saying Bush DESERVES credit and was 'right' for stuff happening when, in fact, it's somewhat akin to Fire Chief who is the arsonist lights the fire, the fire department works to put it out and then the Fire Chief stands before the microphone and gives a "rah-rah aren't I just a damn good leader" moment.

4. Saw it on Friday --- Very disappointing with the exception of "New Rules"
Maher's aiming to pick up a right-wing audience.

He may just get it.

Without me.

5. Last week they were begging for "conservatives"
for the audience and saying the show would be conservative slanted. I think it was for in two weeks.

Personally, I'd like to see their ratings take a significant DROP for that slot on their schedule. If that happens, then they rise again it's going to tell them in no uncertain terms where there potential lies.

8. Just out of curiousity, I visited the Real Time website after this show.

They have a forum there, and as I skimmed through it, all I saw were angry people bitching at Bill for a.) selling out, b.) not informing himself about the issues, and c.) just not being funny anymore.

Of course, there's no guarantee anyone at HBO reads those postings, but it looks as if he's in danger of losing his fan base.

6. The one thing I'll remember from that show: "Anti-warmongers"
I saw the show on Friday. The Druge Show guy sitting on the extreme left used that phrase. I guess it's now the new right-wing catchphrase. Can it get any more ridiculous?

7. I'm willing to bet Bill Maher will go the way of Dennis Miller
He isn't a funny person and if you laugh ,it is because his writers are good.

10. it was a hard show to watch
i found that canadian "conservative" woman on the panel to be incredibly annoying.

it was like a celebration of dumb talking points.

all of a sudden maher believes everything is working out perfectly in the middle east because bush was dumb enough to try it. pretty lame argument.
you have to ingore a lot to make that argument.

12. It wasn't that good of a show, but I'm not understanding some of
your other complaints. are you wanting him to argue against the repugs.

13. There's a barf-worthy poll on the Real Time website right now:
"If freedom is indeed "on the march" in the Middle East, doesn't Bush deserve a lot of credit?"
http://www.hbo.com/billmaher/
(The "no's" are winning, but they should be winning by a bigger margin.)

Their boards are here, in case you'd like to voice your disgust:
