The Neo-Cons have a Scary Site that Names Leftist and their "Crimes".
This website advertises itself as a "guide to the political left," but is actually geared toward smearing true patriots in my opinion. They have virtual dossiers that detail the perceived crimes of such leftist as Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Tim Robbins grouped with the likes of Mohammad Atta and others. Names lists are exactly what dictators start out with before they escalate their efforts. Take a look at this website and some of the people they are bashing. These neo-cons are quite obviously insane, and I tremble to think what they would do if they had the backing of our hopelessly neo-conservative dominated federal government. Here's a quote from the site:

"...examines activists for leftwing agendas and causes -- egalitarians, socialists, and opponents of American "imperialism." Since the distintegration of the world Communist movement following the publication of the Khrushchev Report in 1956, the international left has not had a coherent unifying agenda. Its organizing basis is a commitment to egalitarian goals and social constructionist assumptions on the one hand, and -- in its radical wing -- a nihilistic opposition to global capitalism, now referred to as "globalization" on the other. These radicals reject the orders and alleged "hierarchies" of western democratic capitalism, and regard America as the arch imperialist power and guarantor of private property globally. That is the reason for the inclusion of Islamic radicals alongside American radicals who share a common attitude towards America as a "Great Satan" and Israel as a "little Satan." Obviously not all the individuals in this database are radicals and therefore not all of them share anti-American agendas..."

Here's the link to some scary stuff folks:
http://www.discoverthenetwork.org/individual.asp

There are many spelling and grammar errors, but the fact that one of these idiots were able to start such a site is alarming. We need to start our own site on the Neo-Conservative right-wing. I can think of a few:

George W. Bush
Richard B. Cheney
Donald Rumsfeld
Paul Wolfowitz
Richard Perle
Condoleeza Rice
Colin Powell

Can anyone else think of other names?

1. That site is almost funny.
The site almost screams: "I a wingnut, fascist, imperialist pig!" "Look I can also write some HTML code."

Listing Jimmy Carter there is just laughable. He is one of the most humanitarian, caring ex-presidents we have ever had. No, he is the most humanitarian, caring ex-presedent we have ever had.

I like your idea of doing a rethug site with true crimes of the rethuglicas.

47. Are you seriously suggesting
that we could directly attack the leader of the second-largest religion in America and no harm would befall us? Are you actually saying that no Hispanics actually hold their faith? Are you suggesting that faith is so easily overcome by fact?

24% of America is 'fooled by the Church.' That 24% votes about half Republican and half Democrat, and the numbers are slowly shifting Republican as we alienate them. Do you want to give the Republicans 12 free points next election? You have a candidate directly attack the Pope, and you will.

In one of his latest Brown Shirt activities, Horror-witz is actually getting state legislatures to consider legislation to sanction and control "liberal professors."

Horror-witz is a fascist gadfly who would be funny if he didn't have any power. However, he is actually making progress in establishing the new gulag.

I agree with you, Wallis more Pro-American than Horowitz (the true owner of that site) can ever dream to be.

"Wallis also criticized conservative evangelical leaders such as Pat Robertson for siding with the rebel opposition."

The Sandinistas weren't perfect, but from what I've heard, they weren't going around murdering men, women, and children like the Terrorist groups that Pat Robertson and the rest of the Christian Right were supporting.

16. It's run by David Horowitz
so what do you expect?

He's a cunt. Poor David. Mommy and Daddy were communists, so he became a new leftist at Ramparts. Then the relevation - gasp! -Mommy and Daddy didn't pay enough attention to him. Boo hoo. So David gets a little older, sees the left isn't going anywhere, suddenly has an apostasy and becomes a right winger and makes lots of cash. Plus Israel becomes the beacon of his life - of course he doesn't live there - and he is safely ensconced in his comfortable neo-con life.

It's an old story.

A search on Wesley Clark brings up nothing.

Maybe if they put him on there, the RW'ers might find out the truth that Horowitz saying the Liberals hate America would just be a lie.

Maybe we should suggest to this site that they put up Clark.

(BTW, I like Clark)

31. Yes, I was "deeply" disappointed that Clark didn't make the list.
Even these nuts got the Rove memo that said, if we don't talk about him, he'll just fade away.

Guess that ignoring Clark is still the standard game plan. Maybe that's not such a bad thing after all. It leaves him to be able to spread "Leftist" stuff that seems to eventually catch on:

West Point Professor Calls for End of Gay Ban; Reflects
Shifting Military Opinions Towards Gays

http://digbig.com/4cxkq
(paragraph with Clark mention)....An October, 2004 Annenberg National Election Survey found that a majority of junior enlisted service members now believe that gays and lesbians should serve openly. General Wesley Clark noted in 2003 that "the temperature of the issue has changed over the decade. People were much more irate about this issue in the early '90s than I found in the late '90s..."
In 1993, surveys indicated that 18 percent of service members
believed gays and lesbians should be allowed to serve openly.

73. I thought Ebbers was the Worldcom guy?
Not to defend him, but I was able to dig this up:

http://orig.clarionledger.com/news/0206/30/lsid.html

"In 2002, WorldCom gave 54 percent of its $804,180 to Democrats and 46 percent to GOP candidates. In 2000, the company gave 65 percent of its $1.49 million in donations to GOP candidates and the rest to the Democrats. In 1998, the GOP got 70 percent of WorldCom's $1.83 million in donations."

So I don't know that Ebbers would necessarily belong on this page. He's more of an opportunistic parasite, willing to donate money to any politician an who can shill for him.

Your focus on one word is simply amusing. If you had bothered to read the post, you would see that I suggested we put up a site like this and I called for REAL contributions -- not argumentative bullshit. That is, I requested names of Neo-Conservative hacks that we could put on our own site with real crimes. In case you've not noticed there is a sarcastic tone to the post, hence the reason "crimes" is in quotes in the subject line... Besides that, the fact that they are posting left-wing names with terrorist is scary, and if you want to fool yourself into thinking it is no, realize this old adage, "Those who fail to learn from the past are doomed to repeat it." Tough guys like you are a dime a dozen, and will quickly be cut down, but it is the people who can challenge these people in the long-term, not the short-term, that really make a difference. Sheesh.

Take a chill pill and don't take yourself so seriously BlueMANDude... How about contributing something?

:eyes:

68. Horowitz is a frothing fool.
People like him and Savage are to be encouraged in their pursuits. Put them front and center representing the right side of the isle. This stuff is so over the top and contrary to the spirit of America as to be absurd. These people aren't to be feared - they are to be pitied.

You want names - how about Robert Novak? A traitor to his country.

74. Sure he is a fool.
But fools can be dangerous indeed. Just take a look at history if you don't believe me.

65. Stand and Fight is correct and courageous
I'm tired of libs being "scared" of loudmouth RWers. These morons don't scare me - they make me laugh.
======
I don't think Liberals (and certainly not Stand and Fight) are scared of RWers. What is scary is that they even take the time to come up with a web site like that. It is hate filled. It reminded me of the Nazis describing the Jews in WW2. Did you read what he said about each person listed? If we sit back and let the republicans get away with crap like that, we will end up in concentration camps for Liberals. Are you aware that this Horowitz jerk travels the country, visiting colleges and universities every day, spewing his hatred to students and organizing right wing campus clubs? That web site both amused and frightened me. It frightened me because we now have a 4th Reich in this country, and its called the republican party.

59. Hehehehehehehehhhhhh...................
That's strange.... they appear to be complaining about Dean's opposition to the Patriot Act, yet what they don't tell you is that Republicans (non-neocon variety btw) oppose it too, like Ron Paul for instance. Yeah, there you go. Ron Paul.... :D

Let's twist it around and turn the tables for a second, shall we?

"Despite the 9/11 attacks, Ron Paul still opposed the Patriot Act...."

Let's see how the cons will feel if the same crap is pulled on them!

75. I guess if you put something in quotes, it must mean it's not true
Edited on Tue Mar-15-05 02:16 AM by mikelewis
I was reading Dean's rap sheet and noticed this little tidbit.

http://www.discoverthenetwork.org/individualProfile.asp?indid=1313

"those who detested President Bush for having "stolen" the 2000 election, and who resented his subsequent popularity with Americans."

Are republicans stupid enough to believe if something is in quotes it's not true. If this is the case,

Bush "said Osama Bin Laden" is responsible for 9/11

By all accounts, Gore and Kerry "lost to George Bush who" won the election in 2000 and 2004 respectively.

I have "8" inches cut

Republicans are "not" worthless peices of ape-shit

Hey... I'm beginning to like this.

I did "not" have sexual relations.... {sorry couldn't help it....}

Maybe we can communicate with them after all.

Among other things, he says "God hates America!"

I would imagine he would be somewhere on this site.

80. HAHAHA
to suggest that Islamist fundamentalists are "leftist" is beyond ludacris - it's asinine.

if anything, they are fighting for the freedom to repress women and live under a barbaric code of moral law - not leftist at all.
