Sen. Dick Durin (IL D) - Tax Breaks for Millionaries more important
Edited on Mon Mar-14-05 07:16 PM by GetTheRightVote
then the education of the working/lower class Americans.

A tax payer making over 1 million will get a tax cut of over $ 35,000 while * cuts over 1.4 billion in programs for so many more Americans. This will lead to record levels of debt which we will still need to pay back in the future. Watch out kids.

We will be borrowing it from other countries to begin with, Japan, China, etc.

Why didn't they do all this talking PRIOR to the election!?! Each day it's becoming closer and closer to "it's too late now."

5. We is already borrowing out the gazoo from other countries who will soon
have us over the economic barrel. Remember that you heard it here first (ha): our government will almost surely, one day in the not too distant future, either renege its debt, its IOU's to the social security trust fund, or on some of its other obligations, or alternatively substantially devalue the dollar or others will devalue it for us. But all this and all the other are such small prices to pay to assure the neocons can fully implement their PNAC agenda and vision.

When he fell in Miami and broke his hip last year I could only hope he tripped on his tongue and injured that one for life and told him so! It could NOT happen to a better person than Robert Novak!

16. When I hear the pundit class complaining about "class warfare"
I know the Dems are on to something good. Unfortunately most of the time they get so scared of being called bad names by Cokie, Timmy and Tweety that they just drop it.

7. Correct. MSM won't discus "Perfectly Legal" by David Cay Johnston
and HE'S an employee of MSM NYTimes ! They've got Joe Sixpack busting hump for chumpchange and sending the money and jobs overseas to do 'globalization'.

With gas soon to be $3 the supplychains of WalMart will be too expensive to maintain. And not to worry, oil will only last another 35 years (and at what price ?). China will probably be fighting us for the last drop...

11. Thank God it's not Senator Durkin
I remember in '02 going to vote and being surprised that Durbin was on the ballot. I didn't follow politics closer nearly as much as I do now, but I saw NO advertising whatsoever from either candidate. It was pretty funny. I was honored to vote for Durbin and I figured that the GOP's only hope relied on people confusing the 'b' and the 'k' and voting for their guy.

12. Since it is news and late breaking, it qualifies in a sense. BUT
corporate media will never pick it up and there will never be a link to a news site for it. So because Dems cannot get their viewpoint out on corporate media their news does NOT qualify for LBN.
