1. Yeah but that's brown people.
Those bastards don't give a shit about brown people.

When I read your headline -- that story about that baby
in Texas is sticking with me -- I could have sworn I read
"one white woman."

3. also
Global warming continues apace.

Nobody is complaining about the high gas prices, the sinking stock market, or inflation.

The deficit is growing and the USA economy is still heading for doomsday.

Nobody is discussing the crimes of Tom DeLay.

And then, what about ANWR?

etc etc

6. But congress won't assemble for 76 hours or whatever it takes...
...to stop this mass murder by over-ruling the presidential order which allows the Iraq war to continue unchallenged and bring the troops home.

9. Senate Armed Forces Committee

Hearing on "Worldwide Threats to National Security" (3/17).. Lots of interesting things came up in this hearing.. But From everything I've been reading hear (I read DU EVERY day even though I rarely post) I'm one of the few who have been following this instead of the Shiavo smoke screen. Points of interest for me.. Combining the War on Terror with the War on Drugs, Adding more provisions to the Intelligence Reform and Terrorist Prevention Act of 04 (Goss doesn't feel it covers enough areas)..Goss raised his "serious" concerns about China, Russia, Thailand, The Philippines, the elections in Latin American countries Specifically Venezuala/Cuba/Brazil.... Goss stated that "Professional Interrogation has become a very useful and necessary way to obtain informatoin.,." However he also adds that the US Gov doesn't engage in or condone torture..(You just have to laugh at the bold face lies these people can tell with a straight face).. Oh yeah.. Goss feels that concerns about the media and leaks should also be addressed. He claims that media leaks have "made it easier for our enemies".. Lots of problems (for us, US citizens who don't agree with the BFEE) are potentially coming our way once Negroponte is confirmed as the new Intelligence Czar... But hey who cares.. Terry Shiavo is big news.

10. You nailed it libpunkmom
Goss's statements were especially alarming because of the LACK of attention they've received. Will we all be surprised when the fruit of this rotten tree comes forth?

Confirmation coming up?? This punk-ass administration has stepped over the line far too many times, and there's hardly a peep!

When the S**T hits the wall, only then will some of them "get it"!
