Italian Journalist/CBS I thought the road was private and that
the road block was not a standard daily set-up. Was this skipped over on CBS tonight? Or, was it like the US said, "it happens."

3. Although...maybe CBS couldn't get anyone to talk to them at all...
so they get ahold of this guy whose promoting his book figuring at least he will give an opposite viewpoint. The cynic in me says one of Viacom's enterprises is probably publishing the book so CBS had to take him for the interview, but it looks kind of obvious that this guy isn't an "official" who could answer charges about what really happened so maybe others picked that up?

I didn't see the interview but read it from the CBS Website, so that's what I got from reading it. Why interview some guy who has written a book to counter what Sgrena who was in the car and witnessed the whole thing said. I wonder where the driver of the car and the other injured passenger are and if they have been interviewed.

I guess it really was a Whitewash...but at least maybe the public is more aware of it because of their report. Stories have one minute of fame these days and then they are forgotten. :-(
