Repubs Considering Hannity To Run Against Hillary In 2006
According to The Hotline from the National Journal, Republicans are stymied with the dilemma of who to find to run against Hillary Clinton in 2006. They would love to unseat her, but both Rudy Giuliani and Gov. George Pataki are considering White House bids in 2008. Beating Clinton would help their 2008 chances, but losing would virtually end them. Outgoing Secretary of State Colin Powell?s name has been floated, as he grew up in the Bronx section of New York City. He hasn?t lived there in decades though and has expressed no interest in running for the seat. A possible wildcard candidate: Fox?s Sean Hannity. Otherwise, the other names being floated have less name recognition. And although fundraising against Hillary Clinton is an easy prospect, at best they would have an extremely difficult time unseating her.

1. Bring. It. On.
That would be the best. Seriously, that would be some of the most fun you could have w/ your pants on watching Hillary destroy Hannity.

3. I was thinking the same thing, remember the young idiot that
run against her the last time. She destroyed him & would do the same against Hannity. No intellectual comparison.

4. The Dyslexic Vote
His name starts with an h and ends in y, has the same number of syllables. Makes sense to me. They are going after the dyslexic vote big time.

8. I doubt even Hannity would be that stupid
he certainly wouldn't be selfless enough to give up a cushy highly paid job which calls for nothing more taxing than opening his mouth and letting the bile pour out to serve as a politician.

14. Oh, man. I would love to see that asshole get pummelled...
...by the very person they have been trashing for more than a decade.

Alas, I think Hannity is too much of a wimp to try. He's to scared to even have a real liberal co-host on his sham TV show.

17. Um, no. She doesn't have nearly that much.
$200 million is the amount of money that a major-party presidential candidate would spend. A senate candidate would never have a war chest that big.

I think her cash on hand is more like $8 million.

Outgoing?

What is the source of this information? "Outgoing" suggests it is from several weeks ago.
