When Cheney's Battery Runs Out----Who Will They Pick to Replace Him?
He hasn't been out much lately, has had numerous heart attacks, and last few pictures having him looking more like a ghoul than usual. His batteris may be about worn out.

Who do you think they will pick to replace the VP? Obviously, whoever the VP is would have a leg up on being the nominee in 2008. Rove could give a huge boost to his next presidential selection.

Does anyone think they would try the Jebster?

6. Joe's conspiracy theory of the day
MY ugly feeling is this...

The Republicans are in bad shape, attacks from all sides.

What if Bush were to get whacked. Cheney moves up, they put Jeb, Frist or Condi in.

If Bush were whacked by a protester. A homosexual protester.

Can you imagine the outrage? After 9/11 anybody that even looked Arabic got attacked. Anybody who somebody thought was homosexual might be attacked openly.

Cheney knows too much. He controls too many things. Bush can't work a toilet. He would not be a big loss, and would make an excellent martyr.

8. Sounds plausible.
That scenario would guarantee all out war on gays, something the conservative fundies desparately want. Martyrdom for the chimp, then put in Jethro as VP. Cheney resigns or takes a dirt nap, Jethro moves to prez. No way in hell is a black woman going to be a heartbeat away from the presidency, not even a conservative one.

10. So then order of secession would be:
Bush/Cheney

to

Cheney/Jeb

to

Jeb/Frist

They save Gonzales for an election when they need to show diversity on the ticket.

14. That's the first thing
that popped into my mind. Get Dim Son outa there and put in someone who won't need someone to hold his hand through everything. Jebbie's Karl Rove and Dicky Cheney rolled into one. Someone like Rudy would appease the moderates.

7. They'll have Cheney hooked up to machines....
Edited on Sun Apr-24-05 03:39 PM by ClintonTyree
that run every one of his bodily functions. He will never actually die. They'll keep that evil brain operating (after all, it's the only part he needs, we already know he doesn't have a heart) for eternity. He'll do the Republicans thinking for centuries to come.

I can visualize a glass far with hoses and electrodes stemming from it, all for the sole purpose of keeping "The" brain alive.
