1. I did....among other things, I asked him why he always read from

the fricking Wash Times, as if it were a real newspaper

he didn't like that very much

I also asked him why the proportion of CRAZY right wing guests, as opposed to mere conservatives, so outweighed even moderate libs, not to mention people as far off the left end of the spectrum as the likes of Ann Coulter/David Bossie are off the right. Can you imagine somebody from ELF on there. Maybe they've had some PETA-ites, but you know what I mean. How often does he have somebody like Chomsky or Zinn, or BOB PERRY on Wash Journal, for instance.
Perry lives there all-year round, and the only time I've ever seen him on any TV show was in the middle of the night, at a book reading.

he, of course, denied my premise on both points, and was surprised I thought the Wash Times wasn't a real newspaper. I asked him what he knew about the Rev. Jesus Moon's involvement, and he averred that Moon had very little say in the day-to-day running of the paper.

It was very frustrating

Why doesn't Joe C appear? Gene Lyons could do a call in. There are so many. We need them all. I wrote this morning on another thread. The thrust was that Dems have to insist, organize, volunteer, relentlessly announce that they are available. Maybe Dems don't like to rise early? We need you all.
