* threatening to veto bipartisan-ism?
* has not vetoed a single bill since being in office. yet now, when the house has passed the stem cell research bill with true bipartisan support, not just a token showing, he threatens to use his veto power? wtf!

i've never in my life seen a bigger hypocrite. he gives lip service to calling on both sides of the aisle to work together, claims they are when they pass bills in his favor - even if the democratic support consists of a few people - but when sides actually do work together and do something that the vast majority of americans favor, he claims its a problem, the wrong course, and threatens to crush real chances for progress and cooperation between the parties.

:grr:

and don't even get me started about him using those children as pawns in his little religio-political theater . . .

:grr:X10

1. fryguy, think of the children and the puppies
who are suffering at the hands of out-of-touch liberals

4. we ARE such a bunch of meanies
with all our selfish concerns for the environment, affordable health care, vulnerable members of our society, peace, justice, and tasty cappuccino - we really should be ashamed of ourselves . . .

2. When he says "bi-partisan", he only means
That everyone should "work together" to support his policies without question.

3. Is it going to come out of congress with a veto-proof majority?
That would be just too funny: if the first veto issued by a monkey was then overturned by congress. :rofl:
