The Bush WH is like that highway of intercontinental jets flying

over the ocean between Europe and the USA.

There is a highway there - if you look into the flight patterns as shown in some 9/11 computer renderings of air traffic on that day.

The intercontinental highways are 50 lanes wide. That is why jets don't bang into each other over the Atlantic.

The same with fear in the USA. Fear is an emotion that will dominate all others in no time. The Bush WH enables 'the experience of some fear' for each and every group of people in the USA. The fear highway we each find ourselves on depends on our belief system and our party affiliation.

Democrats are separated out of their big tent. People who don't believe that diebold was messed with but do believe there were election irregularities like 'too few machines in some precincts' or 'felon vetting for blacks in Florida but not Hispanics' are separated from the Democrats who believe the machines were tampered with. When really we have much in common in terms of not trusting Bush. And on and on. Sometimes we crash into each other by simply following our fears. That is what is meant to happen.

The mysterious appearance of the Republican big tent is because the fear highways that group is kicked onto are connective rather than divisive. Catholics vote with evangelicals on abortion and anti-gayness. Elites vote with the military types. And some African American religious vote on the abortion issue even though the racist right wing is being continually & by silence, pandered too.

Know which fear highway you are on. And don't let yourself be separated from people who see & experience things a little different than you. Don't let yourself be crashed into whoever they want you to hit. Use empathy to overcome. Keep the big DU tent.
