Set up recruiting booths in Christian Conservative Churches

It is an abomination that Army recruiters cannot meet their recruting goals when this country is chock full of george bush's holier than thou (more patriotic than thou) flag waving, magnet displaying, chest pounding yahoos. The Army is retaining Alcohol and Drug abusers, lowering the bar on those who are being recruited, all the while christian conservatives are sitting on their thumbs and telling each other how patriotic they are. Don't lift the ban on gays, (why should gays take up arms for those who hate them?) recruit christian conservatives now. Cowardliness, fake patriotism, ignorance, herd mentality; its got to be genetic.

Enlistment forms under the wipers of EVERY CAR IN THE PARKING LOT,
a table set up across the street with BIG SIGNS, and folks on every corner of the surrounding streets passing them out. I can DREAM, can't I??? ;-)

I agree with you. It's the conservative christians that seem to be propping up this illegal and immoral mis-administration. If bushco* needs cannon fodder, they need look no further than their rank and file. Onward christian soldiers!!!!

I read a poll awhile back saying that while about 50% of the population support this war, 95% didn't want anything to do with it personally. My math may be a bit fuzzy but I'd say that most of the supporters of the war want someone else to fight it. The old "Let's you and him fight" attitude.
Reminds me of when I was in Task Force 77, cruising up and down between Red China and Formosa and my good buddy saying "Next time I'm going to stay behind and protect the women and children" along with some rather crude gestures.

Never bothered me one bit serving in a combat zone when Bill Clinton was Commander in Chief. The cause was just and I knew we were supported at home even without magnets. I do feel real sadness for our kids over in Iraq right now. They are dying so rich republicans can get tax breaks and because george bush is so proud and evil he cannot say I was wrong.
