Deja vu all over again?

I keep hearing about * and his big speech on Tuesday. I won't be watching because I don't like to barf. I'll be depending on my iron stomached friends here at DU to let me know all the gruesome details and to keep me amused at the same time.

But although I have no attention of watching, something about this "speech" seems familiar. Wasn't it about this time last year that little chimpy the wimpster promised a big speech about the progress in Iraq? Yes, I do believe so.

But if my memory is correct, last year he promised six speeches about all the wonderful progress being made. Then something funny happened. HE NEVER GAVE THE SPEECHES.

Then something else "funny" happened. Although the promise to give these speeches was dutifully recorded and transcribed by the press lapdogs, HE WAS NEVER CALLED ON IT! He just decided not to give the speeches. It was too "hard", I guess....:shrug: :rofl:

The outrages come fast and furious with *. But sometimes it's instructive to stop and remember.

they decided that wasn't a good road to go down. And yes, the presstitutes refused to call him on it.

I guess we can hope it'll be different this time around.
