Cooper says Rove told him "This will be declassified soon."
So isn't that prima facie evidence that Rove KNEW he was leaking classified information?

I mean, if it was going to be declassified soon, that means it was classified at the time -- and ROVE KNEW IT.

And how did Rove know it was going to be declassified? Because he knew Novakula was writing the story to blow her cover, de facto declassifying Plame. And it was soon -- it was three days later.

Rove is so damned guilty. He's as good as behind bars right now.

2. Russert brought that up to Mehlman and he danced around it somehow.
But, that's a very good point and it won't go away with words calisthenics, no matter how hard they try.

6. Now the next time a RW spinner speaks the lie that Rove didn't know

that Wilson's wife was covert so he can't be prosecuted under the statute ... do you think the commentators will call it?

I think Tweety will pretend he never heard this part of Cooper's testimony. Not even the truth will alter the White House talking points.

But, guess what? People are paying big attention to this case. I think we should all go out and buy any magazine that has Rove's face on the cover just so the corporate powers know that there's money to be made in taking down this criminal government. You gotta talk to their bottom line.
