2. I don't think she cares
I think it's all about power and her ego.

I hope she'll prove me (and others) wrong by staying in the U.S. Senate, but I'm not holding my breath...

9. Wouldn't that be ironic?
Everyone has their eyes on her, and groups from the right are saving lots and lots of money to attack her... If she stayed in the Senate, they'd all be thrown off their horses!

12. We can only hope
But I don't think we'll be so lucky. :(

Get ready for a HUGE battle! This nomination will literally determine the future of our country.

3. she was caught off guard by the strong reaction
it will be interesting to see what efforts she makes now to address this ... i think she knows that unity is necessary ...

the question is whether she is willing do any work to achieve it ...

6. I guess this poll could just as easily ask if she cares about winning.
Because if she doesn't take the people who want to see real substance in our party seriously, she's going to lose.

Remember Kerry? That's how she'll end up. With no one trusting her.

7. She hasn't got a clue
Demonstrated by her continued support for the Invasion--even calling for more troops, when it is a mind-boggling disaster on so many fronts and was a great liability in Kerry's bid.

Not a clue.

11. Not in the least
She knows that ultimately the MoveOn crowd is going to need her a hell of a lot more than she needs them.

15. I wouldn't call myself "the move on crowd"
BUT I certainly don't need anything from Clinton....

Wait! I'd like her to stay out of the running, because she'll almost certainly win the primaries, followed quickly by a resounding defeat in the generals.

13. It's part of the triangulation - she considers the far left a captive base
who will vote Dem NO MATTER WHAT, which means she's free to move further to the right in order to re-capture Reagan Republicans and others more to the right.
