the amount of children one has is more related to income level than it is to intelligence. In every society, including the US, the lower classes have more children than the middle and upper classes.

Pretty soon we'll have to get rid of all our pet birds due to the avian flu. Next cats will start dying from eating birds and the virus will mutate to be effective against cats who have not eaten birds. Dogs, too, will be effected as their genetic make-up is similar to cats (same with raccoons and bears). Then, we'll let the chimps into our homes as pets, because well there is nothing left. They will learn from us and then takeover. I am pretty sure it will happen, because I saw it in a movie once. I think I remember how it ended, too. Yeah, like this:
