Republicans and the Soviets
Why is it that the Republicans always seem to turn into the people they claim to hate? I was reading the book "Perfectly Legal" and read the story of the tax lawyer Jonathan Blattmachr. David Cay Johnston wrote that when Blattmachr was in college he claim that he would go after Soviet law because it was based on keeping the ruling elite in power. Later, Blattmachr became a tax lawyer who works to keep the extremely rich from having to pay taxes. In my opinion Blattmachr help to keep the ruling elite of this country in power. I do not dislike tax lawyer, but when you work to help people like Bill Gates get out of paying taxes they in my opinion you are helping to keep the ruling elite in power. So it seems to me that Blattmachr became what he said he hated. This in my opinion happens a rather large amount of the time. So why does that happen.

1. I'm not sure it is a matter of becoming what you hate.
I think in this case it is a matter of selling your soul. If you want to be rich the easiest way to do it is to serve those with the resources.

You can't get rich protecting WalMart employees from the IRS.
