Feel frustrated?
Take a look at the majority of posts in GD (either one) right now. All of them are about what's wrong. People pointing out what's wrong. People ranting about what's wrong. People rejoicing about people getting arrested for what's wrong.

Where are the posts about what's right? Where are the posts about what to do? Where are the posts about progressive ideas in action?

If we do not have a direction we will feel lost and confused. Frustration is all we will have. And our rants. Our beautiful rants. We will have those aplenty.

Post something positive. Post something active. Post something that people can promote rather than something for people to rail against.

Trust me. Once we get this ship of state moving forward again you won't have time to rant about anything. Once you feel like you are contributing to something positive the negative things will begin to recede.

1. It's like cleaning out a horse stall.
Today was one shovels worth. A good start. But there's still a lot of manure to get rid of where that came from.

All the posts are looking at that dirty stall, not the single, slightly cleaner spot.

2. Here's something positive....
Fitzgerald knows damn well that there would've been no need to lie if there wasn't a reason for it.

The investigation is still ongoing and he's going to pick them off one by one. Isolate and manipulate, folks. If he indicted the lot of them right away, it would've been easier for them to band together, but seperately, he can pressure and coerce pleas and confessions to use to get more facts.

Trust me, I don't believe for a fucking minute that Karl Rove is going to go to prison for Dick Cheney and that Scooter Libby is going to go to prison for George Bush.

These first set of indictments is a warning shot. Fitzgerald has a strong case and is going to pressure Libby for more information because I don't think Libby wants to go to jail for 30 years, which would be the rest of his life.

Libby and Stephen Hadley have first-hand knowledge about the forged documents out of Italy and Fitzgerald knows this. Libby's arm will be twisted severely and the names will start flying.

Fitzgerald absolutely KNOWS they murdered agents of Brewster Jennings and so did Judge Tatel when he jailed Judith Miller. There's no way he's going to let this go.

This is playing out, just not as quickly as even I would like it. Be patient, be informed and let's get Congress back so we can conduct Congressional investigations on these fuckers.

Justice WILL be served!

3. Justice
I have a feeling Cheney is next................

There are powers in the universe inscrutable and profound. Fear cannot save us. Rage cannot help us. We must see the stranger in a new light-the light of understanding. And to achieve this, we must begin to understand ourselves, and each other

4. Thank You!...
the amount of investigations going on involving this cabal are mind-blowing in themselves. It would be nice to have them all under one roof, for ease of digestion...but it looks like lots of scenery on the road ahead. Reality never measures up to expectation.

5. North Carolina Progressives have gotten Bill PASSED about VVPB!
for voting Regulation! Many of us donated our own funds for flyers and Information Talking Points.

We got a BILL...it's not Perfect...not ALL we wanted...but it was a "Push Back" and so maybe that's a sucess for NC...and we Got a Deanie as
State Chairman of Democratic Party over a "DINO."

We are working HARD here in our RED STATE..for FREEDOM/DEMOCRACY/TRUTH TO POWER."

It's all we can do...keeping "Agitating."

6. What is right to me
is that despite the disappointment that Rove is still smiling on the outside, is that in this country we hire people like Fitzgerald to ferret out corruption, to put the wheels of justice in motion.

Not every society is able to do this and it feels good to be proud of America for something.

It is going to be interesting to watch this unfold.

Personally, I didn't get quite everything on my Fitzmas list.
