It shouldn't be too long before any repugs that hope to win '06 elections try to cut the ties with Bush and his string of failures.

It will be fun to watch republican congress and senate members try to get themselves unstuck from the quicksand created by Bush and Co.

2. Already happening...
Article about Santorum says that he has scheduling conflict on Vet's Day and can't be with president who will be 120 miles away in PA. Yeah, right...

7. Nice one - he'd be sucking up to him big time if things were good.

3. They already are. Trent Lott
stated that Cheney discussed classified mat'l in a GOP luncheon; JD Heyworth said he didn't want dimson campaigning for him next year. They're starting to come apart at the seams!

6. I'm really starting to think that Trent is going to retire....I've read he
only has about $30k banked for next year. I know he could raise what it would take easily-especially since he apparently will have no strong Democratic opposition. However,if he doesn't run, all bets are off. Former Attorney General Mike Moore, who led the fight against big tobacco, is waiting to run for the seat and he'll be a very serious candidate.

8. That could explain his attitude; if he really
has nothing to lose because he's not going to run, he can stick it to this admin. One can hope!

10. He's still very angry about how he was treated by the White House
when he praised Thurmond. Don't you just love it when they eat their own!

9. He already is
making a lot of appearances under the guise of his "book tour".

He was on The Daiy Show]/i] on Monday night.....he'll be all over the media for the next couple of weeks....

and......

in pre-emption, there are already some right wing sites harping that McCain will be too old to run in '08.

Interesting..

5. Forrester really steered clear of associating himself
with Bush in N.J. Gov. race. Didn't help though, done in by his negative campaigning.
