Rev. Al on Hardball kicks ass
They were arguing about Hillary's "plantation" comment.

He said he found it funny that the RNC, which opposed the creation of the MLK Holiday, now wants to teach people the proper way to celebrate it.

You rock, Al!

1. No one can say anything
quite like Al Sharpton. Wish he would give lessons to the others, we need more dems to speak like he does.

ROTFLMMFAO (I added a couple of salty words, hence the two extra letters)

Al Sharpton always rips Repug ass good, and makes you laugh while he does it!

4. Darn, I switched it off too soon,
when I heard Matthews whining to Trent Lott, of all people, about her comments being insulting to white Southerners. Although Lott seemed to be in a diplomatic mode and didn't really say much about it. At least during the short time that I watched.

9. I loved it when he said, "2000 black folks were in the audience and
cheered her and you had to comb all over Washington to find one black person - from the Bush White House - to say he was insulted!"

It's sad, though, that the only time they can have blacks on these shows is to throw them food fights with each other to argue about race issues.

And then they bring on the white folks to do the "analysis."

The only time you see black people on any of these shows in when they're fighting with each other. Why can't Sharpton or other blacks be invited on to discuss wiretapping or Iraq or Alito? Nah - better to have them on beating up on each other for the joy and amusement of the viewing public.

13. Another case in point . . . CNN right now
has Jesse Jackson and Republican Joe Watkins on to debate Ray Nagin's comments about keeping New Orleans a "Chocolate City." As soon as I turned it on, I knew the discussion was about race just by looking at the two black faces on the screen. Certainly, they wouldn't have Jesse Jackson and Joe Watkins on together to talk about the million other issues that other commentators are invited on to discuss!

19. I loved the crack Rev. Al made about Matthews having to
go out and scour Washington for a black Republican to appear on the show. I wish he'd responded to that guy's remark about "No Child Left Behind," though. Shrub has left all kinds of kids behind - black, white and anything in between.
