Original message
To the Lurking Sean Hannity - We at DU have some words for you.
Since you come here, and read what we write, we at DU have some words for you. Since your screener will never take my calls, I shall communicate with you here.

My husband was a NYC fireman, working on 9/11. We both used to be republicans; in fact, I used to listen to you every day. I finally turned you off and started thinking for myself. Why? Because no matter the issue, you always support the Republican way. Now, any thinking person will have some issues with their party. But you never did . Because you don't think.

Take the war on terror, for instance. My husband and I are angry; we are angry that you and your cohorts and this president are using our tragedy for political gain. You see, my husband, a fireman in NYC, was working on 9/11. I thought he was dead the entire day. He is now disabled, due to the clean-up at the WTC site. And yet, even with our personal experience with terrorism, we believe the Iraq war was a sham. We believe that Bush and Cheney should not use our tragedy to promote a sham war, and spying on Americans, violating the 4th Amendment of our Constitution and the ideals that those before us died to protect. We believe these things are fundamentally wrong. So that makes us "evil" in your book. That makes us "un-American" and giving "comfort to the enemy." That makes us "want to see bin Laden attack us again." All things you have said. All things your listeners parrot. And I could never be a part of a party that does that.

So let me tell you the final reason I became a Democrat and only listen to you to keep tabs on what you are plotting: the rhetoric coming from you, Limbaugh, O'Reilly and your ilk. I heard you call liberals "evil" one too many times, and it disgusted and scared me. You see, this is what the Germans did to the Jews in the 1930s. I used to teach my students the propaganda that went on in 1930s Germany when I taught them the book "Night" by Elie Wiesel. The Jews were called "evil," "disloyal," "against their country," "rats," all words, if you notice, that you call Democrats/liberals. So I could no longer support a party that was actively trying to cause hatred between Americans, and promoting such dangerous speech. I no longer support a party that whips up the worst instincts in its members, rather than their better side.

And you have succeeded beyond your wildest expectations. Most of your callers parrot the same speech as you, never even thinking (because if they thought, they would not listen to you anymore) that that evil liberal that they are talking about might be their neighbor, their kid's teacher, their doctor. Calling us traitors and treasonous.

Do you ever stop to think what the next step is?? If we are truly traitors, shouldn't you round us up and execute us? THIS, Mr. Hannity, is what your speech is suggesting, but you would probably pretend to recoil in horror and say that you would NEVER promote that, while promoting speech that suggests just those actions. You would hide behind your oft quoted, "We are all God's children," while smirking as your callers line up to spew hatred and venom against their fellow Americans in terms that would make McCarthy proud.

This, Mr. Hannity, is your legacy. This is your work. Look at it well, because if the next step is taken, and harm is done to someone in the name of patriotism, the blame will be at your feet.

227. seems to see the internet as being equivalent to an enemy weapons system
Crumbsfeld's newly revealed battle plan against the Internet:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4655196.stm~US digital ambition

:tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: When it describes plans for electronic warfare, or EW, the document takes on an extraordinary tone. It seems to see the internet as being equivalent to an enemy weapons system. :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat:

A newly declassified document gives a fascinating glimpse into the US military's plans for "information operations" - from psychological operations, to attacks on hostile computer networks.

Bloggers beware.

As the world turns networked, the Pentagon is calculating the military opportunities that computer networks, wireless technologies and the modern media offer. From influencing public opinion through new media to designing "computer network attack" weapons, the US military is learning to fight an electronic war. The declassified document is called "Information Operations Roadmap". It was obtained by the National Security Archive at George Washington University using the Freedom of Information Act. Officials in the Pentagon wrote it in 2003. The Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, signed it.

The "roadmap" calls for a far-reaching overhaul of the military's ability to conduct information operations and electronic warfare. And, in some detail, it makes recommendations for how the US armed forces should think about this new, virtual warfare. The document says that information is "critical to military success". Computer and telecommunications networks are of vital operational importance.

Propaganda - The operations described in the document include a surprising range of military activities: public affairs officers who brief journalists, psychological operations troops who try to manipulate the thoughts and beliefs of an enemy, computer network attack specialists who seek to destroy enemy networks. All these are engaged in information operations.
~
And, in a grand finale, the document recommends that the United States should seek the ability to "provide maximum control of the entire electromagnetic spectrum". US forces should be able to "disrupt or destroy the full spectrum of globally emerging communications systems, sensors, and weapons systems dependent on the electromagnetic spectrum".

Consider that for a moment.

The US military seeks the capability to knock out every telephone, every networked computer, every radar system on the planet. Are these plans the pipe dreams of self-aggrandising bureaucrats? Or are they real? The fact that the "Information Operations Roadmap" is approved by the Secretary of Defense suggests that these plans are taken very seriously indeed in the Pentagon. And that the scale and grandeur of the digital revolution is matched only by the US military's ambitions for it.

41. Hannity doesn't read DU..........
he has a host of wanna-be little Hannitys working underneath him that do all of his show prep, he just shows up and reads what they push in from of him. Kinda' like our president, he never actually does any research himself either.
Maybe Sean's little "dig up the dirt" weasels stop by everyday, I wouldn't doubt it. Hi, little weasel! :hi:

Hannity isn't a reporter, he's entertainment. He's a carnival barker, trying to sucker the ignorant hicks into his tent to see his manufactured freaks. The horror, the horror! "Sideshow-Sean", should be his name, because he's no different than the hucksters who've hawked the bearded lady. jo-jo the dog-faced boy and the human pin-cushion to rural rubes since vaudeville collapsed. Entertainment for the right-wing nut jobs that have other people do their thinking for them, just like you said.

Sideshow-Sean. Let's see if his little dirt weasels pick up on that!

He should look in the mirror.

57. Not only would he call it unpatriotic and evil, but he would
say that it went against the very grain of what America was built upon . . . unfettered capitalism. If you cure cancer, then the drug industry will go down the tubes because they built up this mystique that Brand X drug will "fight" cancer . . .

115. I just sent him this:

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the
country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag
the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a
parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can
always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have
to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for
lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

points about the Katrina victims rioting esp. in the Superdome when Shepard Smith and Geraldo were freaking out at the cold blooded murder going on and because they knew it was the continuation of the Third Reich.

Anderson Cooper is now back in the fold, Brian Williams is scared stupid, I haven't checked back with Shepard Smith or Geraldo in a while though I sent them several emails thanking them for telling the truth about the murder going on in New Orleans because they could not stomach telling lies about black rioting when they saw people victimized and children and grandparents dying for lack of water and food -- THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN DELIVERED TO THE DOME AREA BUT NOT GIVEN TO THE DYING PEOPLE, Katrina victims imprisoned in the Dome and shot at when they tried to leave the city -- TREATED JUST LIKE THE "INSURGENTS" IN IRAQ.

If conservatism is such a better way, then why do you have to constantly lie?

And I mean BIG lies, lies that are easily disproven and have been documented extensively on sites such as Media Matters for America. You continually either get major facts wrong or just make them up.

Does the right really have nothing to argue with other than using falsehoods, misquotes, personal attacks and inflammatory rhetoric?

158. Yep. Alwaleed, excuse me, Prince Alwaleed bragged about
calling "Rupert" during the Paris Riot and getting him to change the headings from "Muslim Riots" to "Civil Riots" or whatever they used.

http://www.ameinfo.com/66993.html

http://www.riehlworldview.com/carnivorous_conservative/2005/09/prince_alwaleed.html

Take his media holdings. In the West, they include a sizeable stake in Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation, which owns Fox News, "fair and balanced" pride of any parent company. And Mr. Alwaleed takes pride — pride of ownership, anyway — in Fox as well. "During last month's street protests in France," he bragged to a Dubai audience, according to Middle East Online, "Fox ran a banner saying: 'Muslim riots'. I picked up the phone and called Murdoch" — Rupert — "to tell him these are not Muslim riots, these are riots out of poverty. Within 30 minutes," the prince recalled, "the title was changed from 'Muslim riots' to 'civil riots.'

So the next time someone sneers about Soros, just remind them that he is a citizen, not the priviledged son of a "kinda" royal house that is the avowed enemy of the US.

I gave bush and the rest of the PNAC cabal a reason to shred the Constitution and claim unbridled presidential power. The only thing is, bush has been wrong about everything, but that doesn't stop the FOX propaganda squad from spreading lies to cover up bush's failures.

who didn't even know we had been fighting jihadists during Clinton's entire term (we were even attacked on American soil at the WTC in 1993). The repugs were too busy conducting surveillance on Clinton's penis.

Dubya and his cartel were asleep at the wheel and it woke them up. But then they let bin Laden get away because they were more interested in their pet war in Iraq.

I'm glad Clinton didn't need a similar disaster to get him focused.

203. 9/11
9/11 would never have happened had Clinton been the President. How many times was the USA attacked by the "evildoers" while Clinton was in office? None!! However, Bush was in power less than 9 months and we were brutally attacked on our own turf. This proves that Republicans, particularly the Bush administration, are magnets for terrorists; with their aggressive agenda of world domination, their foreign policy is not only flawed but dangerous to the American people. Meanwhile, the Democrats, who believe in world peace, are less likely to incite violent reactions from other countries and cultures and are able to accomplish their objectives through peaceful negotiations.

Just look at how Bush and Clinton are perceived by the rest of the world: Clinton is admired by much of our country and the rest of the world as an intelligent and highly effective former president, while Bush is probably the most despised man in the entire world, a bully type who achieves his objectives through force and coercion. And all the lies and propaganda and prayers can't change the fact that Bush and his kind are evil to the core, and that people who think can see this.

Hannity is just another Bushbot (Bush robot type) who spews out the party line and can't think for himself.

I wish the Democrats would quit trying to become like Republicans and start saying that 9/11 would never have happened had a Democrat been President. A Democratic administration would have been alert to terrorist threats and not on vacation playing golf!! Why don't they say things like this?

If any Republicans had any sense, they would leave the Republican Party like you have. They have been hijacked by a bunch of fascist neocons, & the fear that they will do to us what Hitler did to the Jewish people is the very thing that is making me want to leave America. It isn't because I hate my country, it's because I remember what I learned in history class & I am terrified. So I say this to all the people here who criticize the individuals who want to leave: please try to understand. We are not "weak". If we are weak, then I guess the Jewish people who fled Hitler were weak too, right? Think about it.

As for Hannity, I have nothing but contempt for you. I don't hate your party, I hate neocons. And you are a neocon because you parrot their views on TV every day. I used to get along fine with Republicans until your type of sickness infected the party. Republicans should do the right thing & throw the neocons out. I'm tired of the divisiveness in this country. We didn't cause it. We were just as outraged over 9/11 as you were. *You* were the ones who ruined the unity, Hannity. Your side was the one that screwed up. And *please* get over Watergate & the fact that we ended the Vietnam War. That's what this is really about, isn't it? Nixon was a crook. Accept it & move on. The Vietnam War never should have happened. Accept it & move on. Stop trying to punish us for the past. It's childish & stupid. As a fellow Baby Boomer, you conservative 'Boomers really embarass me. I wish I could kick you out of my generation. So that's all I have to say. Oh, & I want to add that I have wanted to kill myself at least twice because of you neocon morons. How do you like that? Stupid, hateful jerks.

Whew--this is the longest post I have ever done here! But I had to get a few things off my chest.

40. more Hannity quotes
“It doesn't say anywhere in the Constitution this idea of the separation of church and state.”

Sean Hannity is a vigorous debater who relies on tactics like offering out of context quotations, stifling alternate viewpoints, attacking the messenger of opposing views, dismissing facts, and presenting straight-up factual errors as truth. Perhaps that is why he was such a fan of another paragon of journalistic excellence, Jeff Gannon, a.k.a. James Guckert, the phony reporter and Internet porn impresario. Prior to Gannon’s outing as a partisan non-journalist Bush cheerleader, Hannity, on his radio show, exclaimed that Gannon was "a terrific Washington bureau chief and White House correspondent for Talon News."

According to Hannity, the Left is also out to destroy religion. In addition to his repeated claims that liberals want to remove Jesus from Christmas, Hannity, a proclaimed devout Irish Catholic, has blamed liberals for actions taken by some shopping malls to refer to the Easter Bunny as "Peter Rabbit" or the "Garden Bunny." We share Sean’s concern—- when you take a grown man in a bunny suit away from Easter, what other religious significance can the holiday possibly have?

Gannon's, um, "other" career interests? Because to be perfectly honest, Hannity strikes me as one of those closeted GOP gays as well. Yes, he's married. Being of low mind and speaking with a playground bully's tongue is the path of least resistance. He doesn't have what it takes to be decent, he isn't mentally equipped to objectively view both sides. Last but not least, follow the money. He's in it most of all for the money and doesn't care who gets hurt or who gets brainwashed. Probably goes home every night, laughing, "Suckers!"

If they told the truth that it was a "dirty liberal" that wanted to change the law because he felt that the Constitution (something that Hannity pisses on)DID allow for religious congregation in public buildings and made sure that it was passed INTO LAW...The Freedom Of Religion Act.... Thank you Bill Clinton a real president one who was for more religious expression and of course FREEDOM (another thing Hannity pisses on)... Clinton was a "peacemaker" and the world knows it...thankfully the history is so recent. The vilification of Clinton was so "everywhere".... they crucified him for a $175 haircut on board Air Force One sitting in L.A......everyone remembers That.....but we can't get this congress to investigate the reason we went to W-A-R......they investigated Chelsea's pet cat;Sock's fan club expenses! For the love of God.
And they have the balls to say that Republicans are the "holy"....and that liberals are Godless...it's just the opposite....I was raised a Catholic and I find it hard to know that Hannity passes himself off as the opposite of what and who he says he is...ick.

"If we are truly traitors, shouldn't you round us up and execute us"

Wasn't one of the things they found on Timoth McVeigh a copy of Rush Limpball's trashy little POS "The Way Things Ought to Be?"

Didn't they establish that the Oklahoma City bombers were avid listeners of the Rush Limpballs show?

They've already gotten there.

They have already practiced violence against their fellow Americans.

They have already tried to prosecute and persecute those that don't agree with them (or was that $1 billion cottage industry of investigating the Clinton's really a "pursuit of the truth").

I hate what this pricks have done to my country. They've built up and burned down so many strawmen arguments that they've turned our political debate into a scorched earth.

When Dems, or progressives are back in power. When our country once again belongs to the people, we are going to have to deal with the propagandist' on the right.

But honestly, it's a waste of time.

Whoever is looking here everyday is looking for dirt. Any thread\posting\information that will attempt to show the left in any sort of a positive light will simply be ignored.

The goal is the complete eradication of liberalism from the political arena. Mind you, I'm not talking about genocide - just simply removing any real obstacle to the stated neo-con goal of complete domination of the American political arena.

Not only do we need our party to grow a spine and start fighting for us, we also need the republicans to clean house. The neo-con ideology is a pox on all Americans, even republicans. We need discourse and compromise back on the hill so that the country can gain it's center back, and that is not going to happen with folks like Rove et. al. calling the shots.

120. Actually
Edited on Fri Jan-27-06 01:50 PM by Taliesihne
No, it isn't domination of the whole planet. The neocons could care less about places like Darfur. The "domination of the planet" they want is total control, logistically and actually, of the precious remaining energy resources left - particularly oil, but as it has peaked, natural gas as well. The US is the most convenient vehicle to do this for several reasons, all of them insulting and probably better left unsaid.

By proxy, if you control the resource that makes the world go round, you control the world. But they in actuality don't want to dominate every corner of the globe. Just those that produce energy.

I was just trying to focus my comments to the issue at hand :)

I will be the judge of my own waste of time ...thank you.
I have learned a lot by reading all these posts and I have saved this thread so that I might enlighten my brother who is a fan of this slime ball...hate monger full of venom "journalist" who just happens to have purchased himself a new 18 million dollar jet......"the love of money is the root of all evil"....how much a year do you think this scum makes to LIE?....P-L-E-N-T-Y....
We are talking here on this thread about a big problem in this country and that would be the LIES we hear from the likes of Hannity...don't negate the power of the internet.....just look at Firedoglake and the problems that Jane has caused the Washington Post and also Huffington what she is causing over at NBC over scum Russert......we are boycotting and calling and emailing and I only hope the same happens to Hannity.....a waste of time?..........I don't think sooooooooo.......

"Mind you, I'm not talking about genocide - just simply removing any real obstacle to the stated neo-con goal of complete domination of the American political arena."
Everytime Ann Coulter or Hannity or Limbaugh gets the chance to suggest violence against "liberals" they do. They seem to believe that liberals are the embodiment of evil on this planet and should be exterminated. I'm not going to put a yellow L on my sleeve and wait for the boxcars. Soon as I can I'm leaving.

77. Here Are My Words For Hannity
Any place, any time, i challenge you to a debate on any three topics. Only two catches. The debate takes place in front of a live audience. And, neither of us know the topics until we get there. (I don't have a research staff to provide me with half-truths.) But, if it comes to inherent knowledge, logic, and intellect, i will wipe the floor with you. OF course, if you do read this, i will already anticipate a non-response. Such is the predictability of cowards.

79. Great Letter! Hannity is GOP talking points carnival barker
I used to listen to him because he was on the same station that the Atlanta Braves were on & I would catch him when there was no game. Now its Air America full time. It is good to listen to him on occasion to see what the GOP is up too & it is always good for a laugh or two on how they twist logic like a pretzel. The sad thing is that many people actually believe this drivel. I would occasionally listen to Limbaugh, Boortz, & Hannity in a single day - must be the masochist in me - & you will hear certain patterns in their propaganda. One of these patterns is that they all speak about the same issues & bring up the same deflecting points. Deflecting points are issues brought up - usually Hillary Clinton - to deflect from the latest GOP scandal or * blunder. This tells me that there is a single source for their lies.

We should congratulate us here at DU for being the blog they look at. It means they are worried about DU & that we are having an impact.

This was preplanned. The camps, for detaining dissenters in wartime, exist. War has not been 'officially' declared since ONLY Congress (constitutionally) can do that, but with the 'authorizations for use of military force' AUMF resolutons currently 'in effect', Bush has unilaterally usurped the powers of Congress, who will not reign in this unconstitutional abuse of discretion.

Sadly, I may meet you in camp if things don't change soon.

87. Considering the dangerous Republican...
...Newspeak, there is in the minds of the minions and dittoheads no possibility that you've come to this epiphany by yourself.

Hannity and minions will (if they even bother to read here) just brush this off to propagandist Kool-Ade speak, projecting what motivates them onto you, and dismiss you on the basis of your being used by Democrats who've brainwashed you.

Yes, they cant see others thinking for themselves as they've long lost the ability to do so for themselves. They cannot slam your husband and you for your patriotism...so they'll adjust and claim you're both non-thinking shills of the opposition party (which is their problem.)

I deeply admire your husband's selfless sacrifice at Ground Zero scrambling to respond to the WTC site, and your activism at the educational "Ground Zero" in the fight for our Federalist ideals our progressive forefathers looked forward to our evolving into.

We've got your back...but don't be surprised if you find that you're used ovah at Freeplum Bedlum as a point of how evil liberals think for you and have the "power" to ruin the "morals" of what should be obviously Republican patriots like you two.

Being a scholar of Germany, and probably fascism in general, I believe your learned and common-sense lead you to your conclusions by without brainwashing precisely because you DIDN'T drink any RIGHT-wing Kool-Aid before you thought.

Here's an issue that neocon broadcasters have raised that effects both schools and firemen:

Hannity's "blood brother" O'Reilly "fat-whaaa" virtually begged terrorists to destroy Coit Tower...a memorial to firefighters here in San Francisco. All simply because a local vote found that our community standard is that we don't appreciate circuses of military recruiters staging their youth-bait dog-and-pony shows to influence (mostly minority) kids in our inner-city schools.

Good luck...and I beg you to e-mail this to Hannity's network. He might not listen when you emailed him, but his station might eventually become more sensitive to manstreamers and heroic Americans speaking out in rage regarding their broadcasters.

And how about submitting this to Newsweek's "My Turn" opinion column written by everyday citizens?

I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.

Most people think that shadows follow, precede or surround beings or objects. The truth is that they also surround words, ideas, desires, deeds, impulses and memories.

92. Here'a one Hannity can read on the air.....
God Bless Our Courageous President.........

GEORGE, you're a Son of a Bitch You're a Bastard. You're a jerk. You're a traitor and dictator.

Also a retard and an embarrassment. Your a drunken, drug addled punk. You're a sissy,
mamma's boy, and you're dumber than your daddy. You're a wimp like him too. Your mommy
must be a real Bitch to have raised up a bunch of leeches and parasites like she did. She's more
of a man than you or your dad together, and that's not a compliment!

You're a liar of the worst kind, and you're a two face liar. You are not a godly man at all, but a
hypocrite of rare distinction. you will go down in history as a failed moron like your dad, only
worse.
You've never read a real book in your life. You were an “F” student who got a “C” from your
daddy's contributions to Yale. You're a draft dodger and a deserter. You're a blowhard Prick, and
you can't understand reporter's questions. You've never had a real job, and wouldn't make it past
one month if you did have one. You'd be fired as an incompetent. You've had everything handed
to you, and you don't even appreciate what you've got. You're a snob, and an inbred effete flop.
Plus you have a stupid face. You look like an ape, and when you talk, you talk like an ape. you
don't have any real ideas in your head, and you have no knowledge of the world other than what
your told by your babysitters that your dad hired to surround you. You'd lose a debate with a 12
year old. You're vile and insipid, mundane and dim-witted. You're the dullest knife in the bush
drawer.

When god was handing out brains you thought he said trains and stood there waiting. You are
against a woman's right to choose, but you had one of your staffers pay for your girlfriends
abortion. You snorted up half of Peru and you smuggled drugs by the ton. You drank a river of
Jack Daniels and you lied about being sober.

You stole the presidency with your father's help and you skated through your whole life on your
last name. You knew 9-11 was coming and you went to hide on the pig farm to be prepared for it,
and didn't warn the victims. You let them die by the thousands and then stood there at ground
zero playing the hero. You promised you'd get the perpetrates dead or alive and then you utterly
abandoned the hunt. You are a Whore of the sleaziest kind, and you worship manna, not Jesus.
You defile the name of Christ, and you pretend to be a religious man. You know Jesus, wouldn’t'
bomb babies, but you tell the easily fooled born again that lie. You talk bad about Hitler, but it
was Hitler and your grandpa Prescott that made your family billionaires.

You took money from the bin Ladens to help your oil company and then you couldn't find oil in
Texas. You stole money from retirees and laughed all the way to the bank. You hugged the
widows of soldiers and 9-11 victim's families knowing that you could have saved them. You are
a heartless, cold, reptilian Cocksucker. You have no soul, yet you attend church and carry a bible
around. You stink, you Suck, and you make us all sick.

You will be remembered as the worst president the nation ever suffered through, and your name
will be synonymous with failure and greed and ineptitude. You have invited the world's ire, and
hatred have disgraced all the founding fathers and every citizen who ever gave their life for
democracy and liberty.

You're a confederate Asshole and a racist. You can barely hide your fear and loathing of black
people. You Pissed on the bill of rights and you Shit on the constitution. Your name will be
scraped off monuments and your statues will be toppled and broken up into gravel. You've
brought down hellfire on innocent people without so much as an apology. You now prepare to
bring suffering and agony to millions all for your billionaire, war pig pals. There is oil in your
veins instead of blood. I hope your happy George. You’re a real Son of a Bitch. Fuck you. Fuck
your dad, and Fuck your mom. Fuck your Nazi grandpa and your effeminate giddy father the CIA
monster. Fuck your brother Jeb, and Fuck your ugly wife. Fuck your whole family you have
Fucked America and now America is saying Fuck you George. Kiss my bitter patriotic Ass you
Son of a Bitch.

Very seldom does the president speak without making 9-11 the text of his speech. Shame on Mr. Bush and Dick Cheney, playing on people's fear and stepping right over to the bank with their paycheck from their illegal war.

130. Worst of all, he doesn't do it for "his party" or for "his country"
I believe he does it for "the money".
These radio terrorists found a group of hate filled listeners that seek out a leader to whip them to a frenzy.

One day Hannity, or one of the many others of his kind, will truly connect with an unstable fan and convince him that the "liberals" are destroying his country.

This will lead to an act so violent as to attract media attention and reveal the motive behind the crime to be: "Sean Hannity told me to".

The inevitable lawsuits will change the tone of talk radio forever.

152. Yes!
Someone finally said it. Bush IS the new Hitler. His supporters, when they act like Hannity, are his "brown shirts."
We met an 80-something man in Florida a couple of years ago, adigal, who was originally from Germany. He spends his days walking on the beaches telling people that Bush is the closest thing to Hitler he has ever known. He has decided the only thing he can do is keep trying to spread this to as many people as possible and hope it will enlighten us.
My parents have also echoed your information. They were children during WWII, but they still remember what the adults were saying and it all seems to be coming true again. Please keep speaking out and speaking your mind TO people like Sean Hannity. They must learn - they must understand before it's too late.

168. I have a theory...
Maybe this has been mentioned before, but I just thought if it myself today. My theory about 9/11 is that a number of different entities, all connected to the Bush/Cheney cabal, had some goal in mind. One group, JP Morgan and Chase Bank had been laundering money and needed help getting rid of the evidence.
The bush administration needed to get rid of John O'Neill. The war profiteers wanted a war to make some bucks at the expense of American tax payers. The Islamists wanted to hit a U.S. target....
They all knew where to get the where-with-all. They were all willing to pay the neocons to carry out their plans. Each thought their goals would be met through a smaller explosion or fire. They were promised it would be at night when few people were thereand it would be something the firemen could deal with. But what each did not know was that other groups were involved...kind of like separate terror cells that don't know what the others are doing before the same operation. By unknowingly pooling their money and paying off all of the people it would take to arrange such a big operation and by doing it during the day when the building was full of people, it really was the "New Pearl Harbor" Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, et al wanted.
Not one of those groups that enabled this to happen can come forward because, even though they each thought their's would be a small operation, they were breaking the law nonetheless.

You said this wonderfully. And with authority. I have only one disagreement:
Now, any thinking person will have some issues with their party. But you never did . Because you don't think.

Hannity thinks: he thinks about his money, his ratings, and his relationship to those in power. Hence the sucking up, regardless of the cost.

Appreciatively,

209. Exactly
And this has been going on for so long, encouraged by the republican party, it is evil.
But I do think good Americans Have finally began to see the light, hence Bush's poll numbers, and the drop in right wing radio ratings. Unfortunately people who feel the need to hate, to blame someone for their misfortune will continue to listen to people like Hannity, Rush, and Savage. They are the same people who join hate groups, who fear change, and continue to vote for the party that destroys them. They knock Unions because their leaders tell them to, but they would benefit from union wages. I could go on and on.
I like to think that good will prevail, and that America will wake from this nightmare.

214. Yes, the Nazis used the same tactics as Hannity and the BushReich
"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

These cretins truly believe that one-party rules is what is best for America.

Fascism isn't really the best term as that would include governmental control over economic activities, too. These people want the corporations to have free and unfettered access to any market, anywhere. Authoritarianism is better fitting but equally as scary.

It boils down to the GOP wants to control how we live our lives, what we think and how we're allowed to speak but they want corporations to be able to rape the land of its resources and abuse the public trust all in the name of the almighty dollar.

217. Sean Insanity Stinks
Good points. I don't know where Sean Insanity comes from. He seems to have his mind hooked straight into the Bush Corporate White House, via some sort of Direct Connect Cable. I can understand Patriotism: I served my Country for 8 years; something I don't even think GW did. But 1

We still don't know all the facts of 9/11. We had a 9/11 Commissions comprised of all Council on Foreign Relations members. We haven't seen the Presidents "facts," over why we are wasting our time, money, energy and Troops lives in Iraq, and Osama Bin Laden is probably setting in a Penthouse somewhere, laughing at America. The world does laugh at us: America and its BLIND Patriotism, with the big Vaudeville Clown in the White House is laughable. Our Southern Borders are wide open to any kind of attack the Enemy wants to send us. The Mexican Military does incursions into our Country at will. I believe two things should happen: One, Articles of Impeachment should be started on Bush. Why? He is running this Country like an Enron Executive. Any President, or CEO that don't make the cut, deserves to be put out to Pasture. America was aghast Bill Clinton was receiving oral sex in the White House, but yet, gas prices were down. Our Seniors didnt have to worry about high heating bills and how they will get their Medications, and eat. and the second thing I think should happen is: All Incumbent Senators and Representatives should be voted out of Office. They are nothing more, forgive my language: Corporate Whores. No one from the Bush Admin to our Congress has Americans best interest at heart. Back in World War II, God had to raise up Democrats to save the world. Maybe He'll have to do it again. I want to share a dream someone had about America

A Dream Of America

James Robey

June 13, 2005

Last night I had a powerful dream about America. I dreamed that I saw all of
the real estate of the United States. I was hovering above the landscape of
this nation. I saw the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. However,
everywhere I looked from the Atlantic to the Pacific coasts of the United
States, the land was black and charred and smoke was rising up in the air.

All I remember saying was, "Oh No," But it was strange, because I knew in my
dream that it was a dream, and that the Lord was showing me something.

And the Lord said to me specifically, "What you see will happen in October."

That was it, and the dream ended. The frustrating thing for me was, what
year was He talking about? And was the Lord saying that He would destroy the
whole country by fire? I don't know!

I speak the whole truth by the great Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ. May the Holy Spirit bear you witness of this.

To God be all the Glory, Power & Dominion forever & ever, Amen.

All day I've been reflecting on the dream that I had last night. I'm
convinced more than ever that the Lord has determined something very
destructive against this nation, for this coming October. I just know that I
know, that I know, that I know. Perhaps it could be Seattle, Washington, I'm
not sure. I can only speak what the Lord says. One thing I know for sure,
"This October, the Lord God Almighty has determined destruction against the
United States. He is warning us so that we will be prepared for it."

God clearly spoke to me in my dream, that what I saw in my dream would occur
in October. I don't believe that the Lord plays games with us.

I'm sorry. I do not feel safer with Bush in Office. I feel less safer, and not just because of 9/11, or even anything the enemy can do to us. I am more scared having Bush sit in the Oval Office. He scares me more than any man who has ever walked the face of this Earth!

Sean, I foresee a day you'll be off the air. You'll have to answer for every word you said: You really need to rethink your positions, cause, your an affront to every victim of 9/11, every soldier and civilian contractor how has been killed, every Iraqi Man, Woman and Child who has been tortured, and abused and murdered in Bush's plan to rape other Countries of their Natural Resources.

222. Amen
Amen. The Bush Family was highly involved in Operation: Paperclip, in which Nazi Scientists were brought to America and Canada for "Scientific Reasons."

While they were helpful in our Space Program, and Missle Programs, there were more sinsister reasons they were used: AKA MK Ultra and Project Monarch. We have millions of Americans and others walking around the Planet and they haven't a clue they were used as Human Robots.

So, yes, I can agree: Neo-Cons = Nazis
