Protest on the reflecting pool

I just got back. They're still going, but the speakers are done. Unfortunately, it wasn't a very strong turnout, but the people who did show were very, very energetic, and making more than their fair share of noise.

I didn't bring a tripod with me, so most of my pictures are blurred out, but I'll post some later, probably tomorrow. It was pretty fun, if short and not really huge.

The crowd cheered pretty well when someone announced that Cindy Sheehan was arrested for free speech. I mean a power to the people kind of cheer.

All in all, it was an alright event.

The only good thing that's come from the Bush Gang is that they mobilized people and made protesting the government something that people do, again.

I'd have thumbnailed these for faster loading, but I don't know how on this forum. Anyway, there are more here.

It's just pretty slow right now. Hell, it's actually always pretty slow, but even moreso right now.
