after the SOTU? He is running scared, as he well should be after his promise that he wouldn't consider radicals as Supreme Court justices. Then to keep his chairman job he promised the Bushbots he'd back their nominees.

He stammered and stuttered that there was a lot of nervousness about Roberts and Alito overturning Roe v wade. Then he stammered on that there had been nervousness about Souter, Kennedy, and O'Conner also over the Roe v Wade issue but things had worked out "fine" with them. He then said he was sure that the W appointees would not jolt our society with their decisions. He then stated he was pro-choice. The little weasel. Maybe he read today that 5 states are introducing legislation to restrict abortion only in the case of the mother's life being in danger. Can you imagine an 11 year old girl forced to bear the child of a rapist?

Reminds me of Cantwell and a few others. Get rid of all of them.

I think she got a lot of our emails. I liked the remark one poster made that she was just another rich person with a new hobby. She let women down big time. She votes against the filibuster and then votes against Alito? We only needed 41 votes to stop Alito in the filibuster state and couldn't get it, but we got 42 against him in the actual voting.

(i'm going to unplug it and put it away now. i feel my job is done. it's living on my bedroom dresser--looking at it is a reminder of all the time spent using it without getting desired results. depressing & discouraging as hell)

and phone calls? i left messages for her, talked to staffers, but i remember that with her, half the time i called, there wasn't even an answering machine picking up. it would just ring and ring. she can't be bothered to even have a machine answer her phone!
