Was the idea of a Kerry-Edwards ticket a way to block Edwards in NH

I was thinking tonight that the timing is suspect since it was immediately after Iowa and also could have influenced just enough voters to give Edwards 3rd which was essential in keeping his bounce from translating into any other state but his native state of SC.

Since Edwards quite properly resisted the idea vehemently, I'd say the net effect was a wash all around.

In any event, the idea has been percolating in the pundit class and among Dem elites since the day Edwards announced.

3. Yes, it's the talking point for all the most electable candidates

all of the southern candidates have been pegged with it. Graham, when he ran, was said to be "running for vp" before he dropped out, by the media whores(and I'm not one of those dopes who calls anyone with an opinion a media whore), same thing with Clark and Edwards
