Jimmy and George ... they don't play well together .......
I was watching, for the second time today, the funeral for Mrs. King. On second viewing, I saw play out a little mime of avoidance between the GREAT Jimmy Carter, and Little Lord Pissy Pantz (LLPP).

After President Carter's speech, which, make no mistake, was aimed squarely at the current cabal in power, Mr. Carter left the podium, never acknowledging LLPP.

Now it is time for all the Presidents to take their leave.

Rosalin is seen walking quikly off the stage, looking to me at least as if she were crying. Then comes LLPP followed by Lump-in-the-Bed. Following her was Mr. Carter. LLPP is struttin' on his merry way when he notices the Lump is missing. He stopes and turns. Mr. Carter was perhaps 3 or 4 steps behind His Lordship. Raher than keep walking and having to face the lad, Mr. Carter also stops.

And turns.

And waits for the Lump to pass him.

Lump joins LLPP and off they go.

President Carter then left the stage.

I've seen this before.

At Ronnie Raygun's shindig.

Good on ya, Jimmy. **WE** love you.

By the way .... did Atallah Shabbaz move anyone else to tears? She did to me.

1. Choked me up! This was indeed a very special way, a class act
that not all can understand what was going down today.

The Bushes got the hint that they were not wanted guest. They got the message loud and clear from the speakers and the audience.

2. "Little Lord Pissy Pantz" also turned to someone on his left right after
Hillary Clinton finished talking--totally ignoring her and never shaking her hand...not until, when, she, returning to her seat after having shaken the hand of various other people, walked by in front of him and extended her hand to him. she should've spit on his face--but that would not have been in keeping with the spirit of coretta king, martin luther king, jr., Christ, nor ghandi.

3. I'm still here with my hanky...
I'd never heard her speak before and I cried through the whole thing... I was glad that they put the smirk-in-chief first so that he was nothing but a forgotten memory for the rest of the service. Well, except for the multiple jabs taken the ass, they were classic! And, I couldn't have said it better "Good on ya, Jimmy"!

4. I'm not religious....but...
the timing of this service, and everything from New Orleans, to Iraq, to spygate...it is like the final piece of a long, painful, and never acknowledged puzzle of the present, the future, and the past. I don't really know how I feel....I just know something's different.

7. "she sure is beautiful"
Indeed she is. My wife said that if she wore square glasses she'd look just like her father.

But she surely is a beautful woman.

Yes, she spoke after the Four Presidents left.

Four Presidents ...... is that like Three Tenors?

...... or Three Amigos?

10. She is even more beautiful in Person......
My husband and I had lunch with her. A Tall, regal, intelligent and articulate Black woman she is.

She represents the legacy of her father well!

9. I would have liked her twice as much had she done half the time.
And the King daughter sounded pretty nuts to me. On the other hand, she just lost her mom. When my mom dies, I know I will be nuts, too.
