If Bush had only restrained himself to Afghanistan and Osama...?

Where would we be today? Would the "war on terror" be unofficially over? Would Osama have been captured? Would we have these fears about Dubai and the ports? Would we be hated around the world or would we be respected? Would Dubya's status have been elevated if he had not invaded Iraq? Something tells me the world would be a much better place if Bush and Co had not engaged in a violent and illegal occupation of another sovereign nation....
