I caught Dean very briefly on Russert last night. He was saying something about being worried about being treated like WIlson (Plame's hubby). I missed what came before that. 10-sec recap?

1. As I recall
(and someone correct me if I'm getting this wrong) He was talking about Cheney putting pressure on the CIA to push the case for war in Iraq. He mentioned that there are people within the CIA and recent retirees who support this. Russert asked him to name them, and he declined, saying that undercover CIA agents had already been outed and he didn't "want to join that group". I took it to mean that he worried about Bushco punishing the people who gave this information, if Dean were to reveal their names.

2. Dean was talking about
Cheney's going to the CIA and not being satisfied with their intelligence. There seems to be two versions of the meeting, one where Cheney is bullying and another that says he wasn't.

Dean says it happened but he doesn't want to reveal his source because of what happened to Plame.
