San Jose CA Mayor on Bush at Cisco: "WHO is going to PAY for this?"
President George W. Bush was in San Jose Friday, touting his strategy for keeping America competitive in the world economy. He spoke in the afternoon to an invitation-only audience, on a panel led by San Jose-based Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) chief executive John Chambers.

Among those in attendance was San Jose Mayor Ron Gonzales, who said he wanted the president to make it clear how he was going to pay for his initiative.

"In San Jose, we've done a lot for education, but we've paid for it as we went along," the mayor said. "Because the federal government is paying for the war in Iraq and other things, he's going to have to get the support of Congress to pay for anything new."

Aart de Geus, the chairman and chief executive of Mountain View-based Synopsys Inc. (NASDAQ:SNPS), a maker of microchip design software, said he hoped the president would show "conviction" -- indicating that he would follow through with any promises. He said he also hoped the president would address immigration reform and commit to increasing the number of H1-B visas from the current limit of 65,000 to 105,000 or more. Added Carl Guardino, president and chief executive of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, "We're not looking for a date, we're looking for a marriage."

3. Fuckface runs as far away from DC
as he can without falling into the Pacific - it's Friday.

Then, he'll hide out at Camp David, or maybe go "clear some brush" at the "ranch," all the while trying to remember how to pull his pud.

God, I hate him.

5. Having the Prezdint say he's in favor of some program...
...is a 100% guarantee its budget will be slashed to the bone.

You'd think people would've learned this by now.
