Damn, we'd do a clean sweep in the house & senate.

Focus folks. Let's get the 2006 elections out of the way before we get our panties all bunched up worrying about 2008!

3. Then lets take some action
While we may not be able to elect a new President this year, we can secure a new congress. This year the nation's political tide will be affected by local congressional races. It is crucial for as all to support such races in "pivotal" battlegrounds. This year, one such state is New Mexico.

Please do what you can to support local races this year. If you have the time, visit www.pac505.com to learn about the New Mexico race.

4. Thanks, Lynne! Excellent point.
And I wish people would spend time and energy on state legislative races as well. That's where voting rules are made. And redistricting. We need Democratic majorities in those bodies just as much as in DC.

5. Ah, but you are assuming
that all DU'ers want to actually win elections as opposed to simply trashing Democrats.

To some, the latter is infinitely more important and, if we don't agree, we are drinking the kool-aid (ingredients: common sense, pragmatism, hope).
