So today I recieve this e-mail from hubby's mom. First off, I know Brad Hughes and can't stand him. Number one, he's flaming gay, that's not why I don't like him, it's because he can't admit it. He acts like a good christian while doing who knows what in the bedroom. Second, he's a bum, seriously....he is invited to my wedding, eats three servings of food, drinks all he can and never even so much as congratulated me and couldn't even afford to buy a 99 cent card expressing his gratitude for being invited...Don't fuck with a bride is all I have to say...especially don't try to be the light of the party.
Thirdly, This guy has hit every little church in Louisville and Southern Indiana. I was always suspicious of his "friendliness" but my oh my now I see what he was really doing.
Fourth, this guy is writing asking for money and then continues to tell us that the wealthy he will pay back by doing whatever it is they want him to do...Prostituting...that's what he is doing, imagine a Republican doing that! Geez, where can I stop with this wanna be southern diplomat.
Please DU brothers and sisters, help bring this man down and don't let him get elected....He is only fuel for Satan's fire.
And now the e-mail. By the way, this is exactly how it came to me...even the redneck spelling. -smurfy
Howdy there, my Louisville connections- I hope you are all doing well. I really miss y’all, but am adjusting back to this Georgia life much better and more quickly than I would have thought. I think a large part of it is that I realize that I will be back to see you all soon. Also, we are too busy for me to get upset that I am not in Kentucky. I don’t even know what day it is? I am writing for the reason you would all expect anyone with this newfound occupation to be writing--I want your money and the money of all your friends and family members! I am writing to ask you to support this campaign financially. I want you to do this for two reasons: First, we need the money. Let’s just be honest—Congressional campaigns cost a fortune and we are working very hard to get it. Second, I want y’all, my friends, to be a part of this. I want you to have a vested interest in seeing this campaign succeed. The best way to contribute is to send a check to P.O. Box 543, Blakely, GA39823. You can also donate online at www.HughesForCongress.net, but the site will get 7% off the top. PLEASE consider doing this NOW. Even though all the political advisors recommend targeting only people who are wealthy and influential, I want the support of everyone who is influential in my life- not just the rich. I know many of you are seminary affiliated and, like I was, you are too poor to shop at the Dollar General, much less contribute to a Congressional campaign. Please know that I would never ask you to sacrifice for this--I am only asking that you send something. Even a very small amount helps to buy office supplies and other things we need. I would certainly be thankful for anything you could send. (Don’t get me wrong, I want the money from the wealthy and influential too. I just know that you will be giving because of me and they will be giving because they want me to do things for them.) Please take a moment today to send a check. I appreciate all of you who have already donated and I look forward to adding the rest of you the list. Thanks to you all, Brad p.s.      I almost forgot another important way you can help--COME VISIT! Anytime after July 1 there will be a lot for volunteers to do. If you are coming South on vacation, please come by. We will take care of your housing.
