I turned on CNNI today to see Wolf 'chatting' with Bush, standing in a corner by the window with the camera over his shoulder like you were somehow 'evesdropping' on a private conversation.

--lemme tell ya a secret--

I have never seen such blatant propaganda bullshit tactic on US TV. Sure they whore it up everyday, but this was just blatant manipulation.

Enough to make Leni Riefenstahl look like an amateur.

I googled some pages about the Leslie thing, and I couldn't find anything conclusive.

It appears that possibly "Leslie Blitzer" was a typo that appeared in a transcript (maybe because Leslie Stahl was on the same show?), and that it stuck as a nickname among some bloggers, though some other people seem to believe it is his real name. Not really sure, though.

There's no mention of "Leslie" in his wikipedia entry.
