Democrats protest president's policies on * visit to Reno yesterday
(last night on TV, they reported that there were about 140 protestors, suddenly the number shrunk)

Aaron Hauser may be too young to vote, but he wanted President George W. Bush to hear his voice.

So on Monday afternoon, Aaron asked if he could come along with his father, David, to participate in a rally against a Bush fundraiser in Reno for Secretary of State Dean Heller, the Republican candidate for 2nd Congressional District.

"The president is not helping me with my future with the No Child Left Behind Act," said the 13-year-old Reno resident who is concerned about getting drafted. "The only job I'll be able to get is in Iraq."

The Hausers joined about 70 people at the corner of Edison Way and Rock Boulevard for a "Rally for a New Direction."
