Western Iran? In my eyes it's not a matter of if.....it's a matter of when and how many dead bodies before we get there. I wonder if all the factions sat down and discussed dividing up Iraq they could come to an agreement? The Sunni's are the ones that will likely get the short end of the stick as far as land and oil.

there are too many factions, and our fucked-up admin never even thought to consider that after being witnesses to history and how religion is not something to be taken lightly. They took it lightly and lost. Whatabunchofidiots!

I think it is the only thing that can happen at this point.
The quagmire that is Iraq will never be secular again and the factions cannot live in peace.
Regardless of what happens, civil war will rage in that countr(y)(ies) forever.

After all, the Soviet Union, Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia separated into their constituent republics; why not Iraq?
