3. It will be a watershed event in an American electoral history.
I think we are all going to be very proud of our country on Tuesday night. Everyone here at the DU had a part in it, too.

I've been an activist and engaged in politics since the 1960's. I've never seen the public mood like this.

11. Wednesday's headlines
I fear will be that "somehow" the GOP maintain control of both Houses. The pundits will argue whether it was Rove's genius or Kerry's gaffe that saved the republicans. The storyline will be the tracking polls got it wrong again. Meanwhile buried on page six of the newspapers will be stories of voting irregularities.

Take the House easily and take the Senate after winning 7 seats including Arizone (but not Tennessee).
