AP: Lieberman disappointed with Dodd
Lieberman disappointed with Dodd

By Andrew Miga, Associated Press Writer | November 3, 2006

HARTFORD, Conn. --Sen. Joe Lieberman said Friday his independent re-election
bid has created some bruised feelings with his colleague and friend, Sen.
Christopher Dodd, who is backing Lieberman's rival, Ned Lamont.

"Look, I understand that people are playing by a partisan political playbook,"
Lieberman said at a campaign stop. "You know why it is disappointing in Chris'
case? Because we're friends. But life will go on. We'll work together because
that's our job, to work together for the people of Connecticut."

"As people said to me, 'How could people have said on Monday of one week in
August that you were one of the great senators in American history, Tuesday,
you lose the primary by three-and-a-half points, and Wednesday they support
your opponent?'" said Lieberman.

Dodd's spokeswoman declined comment. During a Friday TV appearance, Dodd
said he expected to cooperate with Lieberman if he wins a fourth term.

2. Gawd, I hope Ned whips his a** from here to Sunday!
This arrogant a**hole needs to be GONE.

"You know why it is disappointing in Chris' case? Because we're friends. But life will go on. We'll work together because that's our job, to work together for the people of Connecticut." -- Joe Lieberman, who apparently is taking this Tuesday's election and the voters for granted. YOu haven't won it yet, Joe. You haven't won it yet.

GO, NED!

4. Doesn't comprehend how the party system works.
That you support your party's candidates during elections, even if you happen to be friends with a person in the other party. Lieberfuck is such an unbelievable idiot.

6. Go cry somewhere else Joe
"Look, I understand that people are playing by a partisan political playbook,"

Yeah, it would be great to have a Democratic senator that doesn't live by the Republican playbook.
