Blackwell Stalling Transition
Edited on Sat Dec-02-06 02:55 PM by OzarkDem
SOS-elect Jennifer Brunner is accusing Ken Blackwell of stalling her transition to take over as Secy of State. They stopped cooperating with her when she asked for information about budget, personnel and contracts. There's been a lot of pay to play alleged in the SOS office. No doubt the paper shredder is working overtime...

On edit: I recall another elected official talking about the time he took office as a newly elected mayor. His predecessor came into his office and threw a ring of keys on the desk. That was the transition. When he went into the office, it was almost completely empty. Nearly every file had been destroyed.
