C-Span shows House of Reps pretty rowdy tonight!!
After he was yelled at, Alcee Hastings said to Drier, "It is going to be a long couple of years in the minority!" Some guy, Long I think, just yelled, screamed, and slammed the mic as he walked away.

Love that C-Span and the Democratic majority.

2. Couple of years?
Couple of generations, I hope! Puke Roz-Lehtinen is trying to insert an anti-UN amendment having nothing to do with the bill. Then some unhinged Puke from Virginia started yelling about Darfur. Hey pukes, sit down and shut up. You had your chance and sat on your hands.

15. What did the UN have to do with any of this??
It seemed as though they were just using their time to bash the UN. Said something like, "The UN has done more to harm us than almost anyone." Just absurd.

3. Did Dreir yell at Hasting and, if so, why? Is Long a Republican?
Enquiring minds want to know. ;)
Dreir is such a whiner. I wish that hw would STFU already.

4. Jack Murtha does this well, he's wanting to get out of there and said so
but the repukes are just being obstructionists. Where have I heard that before? The noise in the back that he keeps gaveling are the repugs, moaning, groaning, etc. It's so delicious.

And the Dems are just smirking at them. It is just great to see the whiny babies crying about fairness. So sweet.

19. That was just disgusting!

With everyone wearing the same clothing, I couldn't tell who was on what side or who was winning.

From now on, Democrats must wear bluish clothing and Republicans must wear reddish clothing. That way when a fight starts, we can see which side is winning. We already know which side will be fighting dirty.

on edit: P.S. Thanks for the video.

27. Great idea ... uniforms!
I don't much care what the Democrats wear, but the Repubs should have red or maybe orange jumpsuits or classic prison garb. That would fit, so to speak! :)

29. Oh, you've hit on something.
Definitely prison garb. That way they can go straight from the floor of Congress directly to prison without having to worry about being over or underdressed.

31. Much better than my idea.
Orange jumpsuits would save a lot of time, money, and confusion for everyone concerned. Everyone could tell at a glance who was with which party, and the police would have an easier time finding their perps. Instead of having to buy jumpsuits for most prisoners, prison officials could just stencil a number onto their jumpsuits once they are convicted.

I wouldn't mind black and white stripes, I prefer orange, but, hey, I'm open minded.

17. I thought Drier was going to hit Hastings
because Hastings would not yield to him, because he wanted to discuss how Drier mischaracterized something he said or voted on.

Drier was just flabbergasted, and Hastings was cool, calm and collected.

I saw him a few days ago and could not believe his sarcastic tone of voice.

14. Thats what I like about the U.S House
When they debate something thats very near and dear to there hearts they will get into shouting matches which could lead to threats of violence and when they hear something they don't like there scream and boo like a fan at a sporting event, real deep stuff. You know there have a very loud and lively debate tommorrow when they debate the mininum wage, I know it.

Very compeling drama when needed
