3. That's pretty sarcastic....the Site has links to articles that you can agree or disagree
with...but they are verifiable links to reporters who are giving news.

I don't see why Doug Feith's background shouldn't be open to scrutiny the way every one who is appointed to our Government and gets through the Senate shouldn't be.

Heck...we give great scrutiny to our Candidates who run...looking for their schooling, background and where and how they grew up. Shouldn't Doug Feith have some background that folks might want to know about?

Edited on Sat Feb-10-07 11:02 PM by KoKo01
thinking your comments were "hexing the post" to that "other forum." We are all kind of touchy these days never knowing who we might offend. Sorry.... Apologize...

:hi:

6. I am very curious about him teaching - I really don't have a problem
with the University setting this up, but I'm very curious about something - if someone retires from one of the departments like the CIA or NSC or Treasury (R Clarke, O'Neill) everything they write has to be vetted by the CIA. If someone is teaching what he's teaching - it's like a talking book - who is vetting him? He was for all purposes, the DIA, or like the DIA - (or the LIA - Likud Intelligence Agency in the USA).

I think there might be some interesting things coming out of that class.

8. It's odd that Georgetown hired him...but I guess they want "all sides"
shown to their students.

What jumped out at me was that he was a lawyer for Northrup Grumman. Conflict of interest there? Motive for Endless war? Does he have stock in Northrup? Did he have to give it up before he went to the WH or is he like Cheney and has some "deferred" options or pension sitting around accumulating war profits?

10. funny story about this, the most hated man in the pentagon.
A general, when asked about him said, "If the country was being overrun and I had only one bullet left in my gun, i would save it for Feith."

11. Feith is infamous, but the stuff about his law practice was new to me.
I'm not surprised, however.

If this guy ends up in the pen for espionage, I won't be surprised, and whoever hired him should be his cellmate.

The Office of Special Plans absolutely abused intelligence in order to secure our invasion of Iraq, and I think that for Feith, our invasion was not for the U.S., but for Israel.

I'm sorry to think that of a fellow American, but there it is.
