name? I, for one, intend to honor his heritage, and of course, his parents, and will from hereon and hereforth refer to him as Willard M. Romney. :-)

edited to add: not to offend Willards, who are unfairly besmirched by the movie. And, I edited after Redstone's post. MKJ

5. Like Tweety, I'm from Philly...
and in the old days, we knew a certain young man who had enormous talent, who sang and rapped spontaneously in Bala Cynwyd's Hillary's Ice Cream Parlor as:

Willard Smith

No lie...

6. I dunno. "Mitt" is pretty silly-sounding as well. What's it short for, "Mitten?"

7. What is wrong with his real name?
Does he have a problem using his "GOD Given" name?

I use the GOD Given in the light that he is suddenly such an upstanding Christian.

My middle name is Willard I don't shy away from it either.

11. NOT TRUE, My Republican Governor already endorsed him.
Missouri's GOP Governor Matt Blunt has already endorsed 'Mittens'

Why? Because in 2008, when Blunt loses, they'll both be one term Governors.

Losers support losers. MITT 2008!!! If he's nominated, I'll break out the party hats many months earlier.

10. So let me get this straight.
He's ashamed of Willard, so he goes by MITT instead?

12. As a MA resident and former victim of his governorship
I refer to him as "Mittens", mostly because it's so emasculating. It makes him sound like someone's pet kitten. Anything I can do to help prevent him from ever holding elected office again, I'm there.

13. Why laugh at someone's name?
Righties are mocking Obama's name and they look pretty pathetic doing so. No need to do that with their candidates.

By the way, Romney is the lost brother of the BK King. :)

16. I hear the political consultant saying,"Willard? No way. What's your middle name?"
I didn't fully think out the consequences of this OP, as is probably pretty evident.

So, I'll just say, Willard Mitt Romney is the best "the other candidate's" name ever! MKJ
