This is the best the Dems in the House can do?

Pass a law to 'require' Bush to 'acknowledge' that something is wrong?

That is so weak and so lame, without any prescribed remedy that it would probably be counterproductive.

You can be sure that Bush, if this was passed, I would never 'acknowledge' that he had anything to do with an 'overburdened' military ... but he would then demand that there be a huge increase in military spending. What would Democrats do then?

This sounds like another military-industrial complex support proposal. (Make sure and see the DVD "Why We Fight.")

And it does nothing to get U.S. troops out of Iraq.
