Edwards to air anti-war TV ads in Oregon
Edwards to air anti-war TV ads in Oregon

Associated Press

----
WASHINGTON--Presidential candidate John Edwards begins airing television commercials in Oregon this week, tapping anti-war sentiment with hopes of boosting fundraising and luring core Democratic voters.
The ads focus on Iraq, and they're expected to run in heavily Democratic Eugene, and on local cable stations.

2. Well, ads aimed at shaming congress is as good a tactic as any others, I reckon!
Too bad he wasn't quite this "forceful" at being "anti-war" when he himself was in congress. Guess he's been eating his "wheaties" and grew himself quite a set since then!

3. Will he do an ad where he speaks about how Saddam is a major threat too?
It's pretty convenient that the co-sponsor of the IWR who had firsthand knowledge of bogus intelligence while on the Senate Intelligence Committee at the time is now....presto! Anti-war!

Pass me the dog food...

4. Obama/Hillary appears to be supporting full funding of the Iraq War with no timetables or deadlines

Considering public sentiment on the war, now, that is much worse than any IWR bill (that anti-war folks like Sen. Kerry -- who you defended constantly two years ago for his IWR vote -- supported and voted for).
