They're not asking Monica the right questions.
No one's asked about what in her experience qualified her for making her decisions. If someone pursued that, I think we'd see how shallow she is. Also, what criteria did who use in hiring her? That will reveal her connections to the White House to her law school and how it populates Justice. She also said she hadn't seen an apparently important Gonzalez testimony completely. Has she prepared herself for this beyond her talking points? Is this a pattern or an abberation?

Let's see what tomorrow brings.

1. And here I always thought that Congress was just crawling with lawyers.
Now I understand the situation: They had to run for Congress b/c they sucked at being attorneys.

2. I agree. There is no strategy.
It's hit or miss, random questions.

Why on earth don't members of the committee see this as a strategic opportunity?? Why don't they send a message with their questioning?

They come across as disorganized and ineffectual, sorry to say.

No silly, our Military Industrial Complex first Corportocracy has The Congress divided into two political groups: Good Cops (Democrats) vs. Bad Cops (Republicans). :wow: :(
