Even if the Democrats play their games of war, even if we say all the right GOPish things, even if we pander to the extreme right wingers, even if we get real militaristic and sound very tough.....it just won't matter.

The people who are hard core supporters of Bush, who refuse to hear the truth, will NEVER vote for any of our Democrats.

There is a wide audience, who, upon hearing the truth which is NOT coming out in the media yet, will start to respond.

All I ever see on here is one poll quoted time after time, about the 22% who are the only ones who don't support the war. Remember the polls before Saddam? They were going down in the number who supported it. It will happen again if our candidates speak the truth.

You can be afraid of them, you can play their silly war games, but they are not going to play nice. They would crush us like an ant.

There is a chance to beat them with straight talk and just plain guts, but I think we have almost blown it in our hatred of fellow Democrats.

I have said it before, we really do not deserve to win next year. We are way too wimpy, and all we do is tear each other apart.

This is not a candidate post, and I hope it is not turned into one.

1. Yes, But...................................................

Yes there alwats be a percentage of Bush backers No Matter What...just as Saddam still has HIS backers.

And there is the Core Dems/voters who are anti Bush... period.

And both woo the middle..... many of which lean towards Bush, perhaps
as much as his opponents.

The bush team got shit to use...." what?? the capture of Saddam??" The way things look like now, what with Daily Death and Destruction.....
The Value of the Saddam Capture has lost luster.

The Bush Team is left with going neg, thats all they have, NEG.

Translation: Bullshit and Dirt. The Ole B&D. Damn.

{{{We got Sanity and Reason on our side. You just know we got a turn coming. Go Dean.}}} edit, this can be made into T Shirts

3. Not if we tear each other down like we are doing now.
I don't just mean here, either.

I mean all over the news. I know we can win, but we can't do it this way.

Have you seen the "support the war" threads tonight and lately? It is pathetic.

4. I have always said that we need to play hard ball with them
because they don't understand anything else nor do they deserve civility, because they are not civil. This is political war.

5. Sing it loud, sing it proud, you are absolutely
right. Fortunately, at least two candidates have enough
balls, gumption, whatever you want to call it, to take
your advice and hit back, and hit hard.

Hint: they're not the Pink TuTu Washington establishment
types.
