1. I want to know his thoughts on what will happen to DU if Hillary wins the nom
I think it'll throw DU into an upheaval.

3. Yup.
And once it's a done deal, it's a done deal. You won't find me voting for Guiliani simply because Hilary is our nominee.

4. I don't think Hillary can win the nomination
She is simply too polarizing...as is evidenced on DU. She would be the dream candidate for the Republicans because I think they could nominate a coffee cup and it would win against Hillary.

6. Frankly, I hope you're right
but don't think you are. Time will tell and again, I'm on your side on this one.

7. I don't think that DU is an accurate reflection of the Democratic Party as a whole.
Maybe the left wing of the Democratic Party, but there are so many who believe they ARE the Democratic Party rather than a part of it. There are those in the middle of the Democratic Party as well as conservative Democrats who believe their viewpoints are valid as well.

8. I know folks who are not on DU who LOATH
HRC....absolutely LOATH her..primarily because of her vote to authorize Bush to attack the sovereign nation of Iraq.

Thomm Hartman is right...the Democrats will have to answer for why they gave Bush money to wage the war for another year without any time table to bring the troops home.

If Hillary is the Democratic nominee then get ready for ANOTHER Republican administration.

9. So your judgement of Hillary's chances is based on your friends, DU and Thom Hartmann
I would try leaving the echo chamber.

10. I don't hear folks at work clamoring for
HRC either and they are hardly the echo chamber.

I stand by my comment...Hillary means another Republican administration.

15. I dunno, she's building support in Iowa...
I think we often times forget that there is a whole wide world out there, most of whom do not agree with the majority of us here on DU. We are a slice (the best slice!) of the Democratic Party Pie...not the whole thing.

11. My point is that we are here at DU, posting at DU,
and I don't think that DU is representative of the Democratic Party as a whole. Senator Clinton's (I refuse to call her "Hillary") support within the Democratic Party must be coming from somewhere.

12. The DLC and corporate branch of the
Democratic party...the same folks, for the most part, who bank rolled Bill.

I am tired of the DLC and their pro-corporate anti working person agenda.

13. The Democratic primaries are for Democrats, no matter what flavor they may be.
I am sure there are liberal Republicans who are looked down upon by the neocons as being nothing more than Democratic-lite. The candidate of your choice will win by getting the most delegates, not necessarily by being the most righteous, pure, or correct. Unfortunately, that's the way it works.

16. Well, folks won't be able to campaign against her, anyway
like they weren't able to campaign for Lieberman and against Lamont.
