the cartoon depicts Kerry spreading the word to the press about George AWOL bush ...

i have never heard Kerry make any affirmative statements about bush's awol status ... i've heard him say things like "the president should answer any questions that arise about it ..." ... but Kerry has not made any allegations about whether bush was ... or was not ... awol ...

while it might be true that other democrats, including those who support Kerry, are helping spread the word, there is no evidence i'm aware of that indicates that Kerry himself is spreading the word in the manner that the cartoon depicts ...
