Starr's need to collect evidence in his obstruction of justice probe outweighs Clinton's interest in preserving the confidentiality of White House discussions, the lawyers said.

Therefore, if Congress suspect that Alberto did mislead them, and the subpoena of Miers is being used to collect evidence, then surely Exectutive Privelege does not apply....

I am wondering why sites like Huff Po haven`t picked up on this...It does rather shoot Bush`s argument down in flames methinks..

just thought I would bring it to everyone`s attention, so next time some neanderthal reslug starts with "but but Clinton..." you can finish the sentence with "was denied executive priv....etc etc"
