From Reliable Sources
By Nancy Greggs

I cannot disclose my sources, but please rest assured that they are as reliable as CNN’s, FOX’s, and other MSM news outlets.

Apparently the Democratic party powers-that-be have, by agreement, already set the agenda for the next president – who, of course, will be one of our own.

I’m not liking the way this is going, but here’s what the agenda looks like:

Assemble a cabinet consisting of yes-men

Appoint incompetent cronies to key positions (e.g. head of FEMA, FDA, DHS, etc.)

Keep all meetings secret; no minutes, no transcripts, no list of attendees. Have paper-shredders handy for archiving all sensitive documents and communications

Announce that the office of the VP will sometimes be part of the executive branch, and sometimes not, depending on the situation

Keep blank “I hereby pardon ___” documents on hand, ready for quick signature, as well as form letters stating, “The President claims executive privilege in respect of the following ___”

Install wiretaps on phones of political adversaries – no warrants necessary. Disclose the names of covert CIA agents as a means of intimidating dissenters

Invade a country under the guise of liberating it as part of fighting the War on Terror.

You are now a Wartime President (which means you can do whatever the f*ck you want). Proceed as follows:

Send troops to newly liberated country; cut pay, benefits, pensions of soldiers. Save additional money by skimping on necessary field equipment. Call it the Support the Troops initiative.

Award no-bid contracts to corporations owned by friends, family members, campaign contributors

Dismiss any and all advice proffered by experienced military people

Torture, maim, kill innocent civilians; call it “Winning Hearts & Minds”

Once newly-liberated country is completely destroyed and falls into chaos, uncontrollable violence, etc., send more troops. Make speeches about spreading democracy; warn Americans of consequences of withdrawal.

When widespread corruption within your administration starts surfacing, ignore subpoenas, stall, obfuscate, then hint at probability of attack on US soil …

That’s as much information as my sources would let me have. This looks pretty screwed-up, my friends.

Right now there are lurkers reading this. They are horrified! They are ready to take to the streets! They are sharpening their pitchforks, yelling, “I knew those Dem bastards were up to no good! They're out to DESTROY our country!”

And while they're freaking out over this so-called agenda, it doesn’t even strike them as being the least bit familiar ...

2. Well, you see, it's like this:
Republicans have spent 7 long years looking into
the mirror and seeing someone else.

If their vision is clearing, it is doing so very,
VERY slowly. Do not ask them for whom the bell
tolls. They ALWAYS will tell you it's tolling for
someone else. Always.

That pretty well sums it up. Great line.

4. I can't think of any other way to explain it

I think if they saw themselves for what they really are,
or have become, they'd run screaming in the opposite direction.

6. Great rant, as usual. One suggestion...
I'd start each agenda point with "President Hillary."

(Cue the lurking freeper exploding heads.)
