War with Iran: what would be the point?
Can anyone come up with any possible positive outcome from a potential war with Iran? I can't.

1. Armageddon for the fundies.
The latest polls from Israel show a majority want Iran taken out.

The military industrial complex is always up for another war.

We live in an Alice in Wonderland era, so the 'reasons' need not have any connection to America's self interest.

3. To go out with a bang?
What does he have to lose at this point? Might as well make SURE we all never forget him, 'eh? God, I SO want this to end, but I'm becoming afraid of what that end will look like when we finally get there.

5. I can't, nothing positive or rational,
but I'm sure the PNAC, the AEI, and rapture ready evangelicals like John Hagee could.
For them, it's all about Israel, but for different reasons IMO.

7. Destabilization of the entire Middle East comes to mind.
Makes it a lot easier to fuck with them, which we've damn near mastered over the last 5 decades.
