Miss Waverly goes to vote in Maryland primary. They now have Diebold registration books, they were OVERWHELMED with 5 (That's FIVE people) waiting in line at my precinct. Now some of the people in line were being told that they were not registered to vote in my precinct although they had done so since 94, they were told to go "downtown to vote." Since downtown is approximately 3 miles away, how could this be happening? This reminds me of Ohio all over again. I told one of my political contacts, how can you let this go by. Don't you see what is happening here.
I do not think my vote counted in 2006, they said that I voted before I got there but they would "attach" a note to my card saying that I really hadn't voted and that card was my "vote." In 2004, I pressed the button for Kerry and the button next to GWB lit up 5 times. I said why don't the Dems get it, can't you see what is going to happen when everybody shows up in November. People are going to be turned away from voting because it will take hours for a few to vote and registered voters can be switched out of their precincts to other locales.
Now when the Dems says we need money, I listen, why can't they listen about this.
And I really don't understand about the SMIRK party, if they are behind all this, what can they possibly hope to achieve but an unpopular government that will exist behind bunkers and barbed wire.
I just heard voter turnout is at 22% in Baltimore City, I just wonder how much of this was due to the electronic diebold registration.
