Krugman calls BS on Alan Greenspan
http://wealthyfrenchman.blogspot.com/

And in 2004 (Greenspan) expressed support for making the Bush tax cuts permanent — remember, these are the tax cuts he now says he didn’t endorse — and argued that the budget should be balanced with cuts in entitlement spending, including Social Security benefits, instead. Of course, back in 2001 he specifically assured Congress that cutting taxes would not threaten Social Security.

Al the Pal just another loyal Bushie trying to distance himself from the Worst President Ever

1. K&R, and bookmarked.
Greenspan needs to be exposed for his role in our fiscal disaster.

3. I agree, America had a good economy during Clinton's term in spite of him not because of him.
He consistantly undercut Clinton by raising interest rates at every single opportunity. He did everything within his power to undercut Clinton and America's flourishing economy.

4. During the 60 minutes Interview shown last night, he didn't have anything really good
to say about any of the Republican presidents as far as economic policies, but had a lot of good to say about Bill clinton's economic policies.

So at the end, he said he'd likely vote Republican.

Seems that the facts don't matter to him, either. A Dem president is better for the economy than the GOP presidents (Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush I) so he'll likely vote for a Republican. Go figure.

Just goes to show that the actual facts aren't going to affect the "cultist true-believers".

6. Yep, another too-late-smart confession
And it's just astonishing how many of these intelligent, dedicated public serviants did so many incredibly stupid things while they were serving the public and pocketing their paychecks, but how brilliant they've become since leaving the public sector. Oh, the things they now know! Which isn't to say that any of their real-time critics were right, you understand. But buy my book, and I will explain to you all over again about what a sage I am.

I'm not an advocate of the death penalty, so I guess it would be hypocritical to want these fuckers lined up against a wall and shot.
